Btw anyone else think Lustboy's been pretty damn good so far? At least compared to the rest of TSM.

Samsung White is arguably even stronger right now than SKT T1 K on peak form in Champions Winter. Do you think SSW in their current form would win a Korean championship without dropping a game ? You need to consider that when SKT T1 K were on peak, there were basically only White standing on their way and Blaze got smashed without chance being considered top-2. If White can avoid Blue in Champions, they can win without dropping a game, on the other hand, they're not that practical as was Faker's team, so they can throw 1-2, so i guess, it's pretty low possibility but they have a chance.

While some players so far have shown that they can hang with the Koreans (Westdoor, holy shit that man broke his back trying to carry), for the most part teams get outskilled on so many positions that it's impossible to overcome even if they have a couple lanes that are equal or better.

I mean I guess he has put on some pressure, but I can't recall a single Q he landed. Bjregfson has been a beast, and Dyrus has played well with exception of the first Starhorn game (but I think he wasn't expecting that Rengar). I do think Lustboy has been their MVP tho.

I expect someone to drop a game, and hey there's even still the possibility of Blue throwing so they don't have to teamkill until the finals, which for Korean eSports wouldn't be unusual. I could see Shield dropping games, even in groups. I think both Alliance and C9 could be threatening and besides Watch and Dade I don't think the rest of the Korean players have a lot of international experience, which makes me think that random shit can indeed happen. Blue is obviously stronger in general and the sister team of White, so my bet is on Shield. But hey, it's just a pretty random expectation by me tbh, I don't have any deep sophisticated analysis to make a prediction that is worth something, just my feelings from closely following Shield in OGN.

Cloud being toxic will go down as one of the most unfortunate things ever in Chinese LoL. I really wish they picked up ahrl or sicca for the squad but sicca had disputes and ahrl is an outcast because he left WE.A so he wouldn't drag them down because he had a GF

Thaat being said, their late game decision making is still the best in the world. If they can keep a series in their home turf of the endgame they could do it but white's early aggression and blue's midgame teamfighting imo is just too much for white shield unless the stars align for watch and zefa like they did at regionals

So pomelo stepped down from the roster after all-stars, OMG decided to move lovelin back to jungle and they picked up this high ranked soloQ support cloud. Now things started off dandy, cloud played well. He got san fed, they were near the top of LPL and it was all going great. Then OMG lost matches, turns out that cloud didn't handle it that well, infact he was downright cancerous to the team and raged on san all the time and so he had to be removed. Now they had a problem, they needed a new support on short notice, lovelin is jungle now and they had a good thing going there so they took dada back onto the squad, he got caught loads, san lost even more will to live and here we are now with one of the best bots in China becoming one of the worst.
