Also this isn't even about actual matchfixing, it's about limiting incentives and suspicions of matchfixing with some very simple measures that most competitions have used for a crapload of years already. Even if S gave their all today, at some point with this format whether it's next week or in 10 years, there will be a case where a team will drop a game because it's better for their sister team. I think he refers to the fact they would get DQed for match fixing.

The most hilarious thing was prime didnt play that good, sure in one of their game their strat was unique, but they all made indiviudal mistakes and weird teamfights. Their Leona missed more ults than she hit lol

Living with paranoia for 10 years or more isn't the best decision i have to say. Exactly my point. This just looks really bad right now -.- On April 04 2014 20:57 supernovamaniac wrote: Tell me why I shouldn't get salty when people are making serious accusations without clear evidence, and try to witch hunt people out of the scene. Yeah you cannot say that there was matchfixing involved and it stupid to be like " uh sure they threw today", but what is even more stuoid is a system where stuff like this can happen. I mean what do you expect? It doesn't get more suspicious than what happened today imo

Their Leona missed more ults than she hit lol horo standing still beacuse he's trying to steal drake easyhoon didn't really miss ori ults, except the one where he panic ulted because he got dived on by 4 people wolf didn't miss any annie ults, the only "miss" was when zetnjin spellshielded at the right time to defend it marin underestimated jax because he had no ignite am i saying they played perfect? no. s has already shown they're a rollercoaster in how well they play. sometimes they're on and sometimes they're off. apparently players can't tilt or have misplays without being accused of match-fixing? jesus.

If Casper played instead of non-trained Pooh, we could have been saved from those stupid accusations in match-fixing by SKT T1.

First, none of what you described happened the way you're framing it(or at all), second, emotions don't lie(except in people that are trained to do it), and those S players looked genuinely broken up about losing their guaranteed playoff spot. Apparently they all took some acting lessons while they were practicing how to lose on purpose without looking like they were losing on purpose.

+ the fact about the points, K going to Allstars and stuff. Stop it already. SKT S just came in way too confident and Prime wanted to prove they were on the level, here comes your upset.

It's really really bad for the scene to accuse one of the most prestigious organizations for matchfixing. It's really silly. I think he refers to the fact they would get DQed for match fixing. Koreans aren't robots who play perfectly every game. Even the best implode in high pressure situations.

Did i even say this has to be done? I actually don't like this solution either, but if you have a group stage where things like this can happen there is obviously something wrong with the system

And not only because they know your playstyle and stuff from inside but because they have relationships between them. And what the fuck is the difference between playing sister team in groupstage and in playoffs if you suspect them in anything? If you're not accusing them in matchfixing with irrefutable evidence, then just stop it.

It would be very simple to offer group stage protection like in UCL and keep sister teams but make it so they can't be in the same group If there is a problem, its within the organizations having multiple teams. The Champions system was made so that everyone has equal chance, and everyone is treated the same. If they keep sister teams out, that is already catering to those organizations that has multiple teams in individual tournament. If this was a problem, BW and SC2 tournaments should've kept players from same team away from each other instead of having stupid group selections. Which also gives some players tons of advantage, especially for players within same team because they are not stressed about the fact that they have to teamkill during group stages.

If you have two sister teams that can practice together, they have an advantage over teams so it's just a fair thing they'll then face the risk of having one team beating the other.
