I know KTB has fallen off but come on, falcons are still falcons even with their new roster they're far more likely to be 4th than KTB.
Why did falcons have to make it but not stealths, they're so inferior to stealths it's not even funny.

Frost really have to be first in group.
If they're not hitting at least semifinals this season, it will be ridiculously hard for them to qualify for Worlds.

Even though, it's Spring, so Blaze will be in finals and can Najin Sword again be eliminated in groupstages? (just to be in NLB finals, ofc).

group a has me pretty nervous actually. i don't think skt k would lose to s, ezhoon can't carry that hard. but kta has a chance against skt k if they just play without throwing

SKT K > SKT S > Arrows> Optimus
Ozone > IM#1 > Frost > FIO
Blue > Bullets> Sword > Falcons
Blaze > Shield > IM#2 > Storm

I think all groups have a good chance of mixing up the top two. For me, most groups have a clear weaker link, and a less clear 2nd/3rd place. Arrows could upset, Frost could pull together, Sword have the experience. I'm less up to date on how the IM teams look. And I have no idea how Optimus. FIO or the new Storm will do at this stage.

Anyway, I'd like there to be a surprise this season. Something like SKT K having a tough match. That would be a surprise =P

this prime optimus has some strong players and pretty tight team play. the lee sin and vi from that kr soloq highlight video making the rounds are from that team.

Kind of sucks for S and Arrows. I think either of them would be pretty heavy favorites to at least advance if not outright win their groups in any other group. I'd put Blaze and K over them, but any other team is maybe 60/40 at worst.

Nothing against S, but I find it really hard to root against Arrows. Kakao is an absolute monster and is seemingly the catalyst behind the infamous KT macro play. I think he should at the very least be in the conversation for best jungler in the world. The KT organization has done a really good job of sweeping him under the rug, though.

I think Faker and Friends take this easily. The team just appears to be too dominant in there recent play.

I still think group c is going to be the more interesting group in terms of games. A near repeat group from Champions Winter is going to be awesome to watch
