this is not hte same kind of thing as the savior scandal. that one was individual players betting for personal gain over integrity of game, this one is a team manipulating results for its total benefit, over teh integrity of the game.

now, you may say it's still violating the integrity of the game. true. however, corporate entities feel morally superior to individuals and they don't care. fans may blame them on forums but they care only about the production of glory which is their whole reason of existence.

Yeah obviously anything IS possible I just dont see the reason to circlejerk around it when there is little to no proof that it did happen. If you believe that was what happened just keep it for yourself and stop posting about it, cause it's getting really tiresome.

And of course since I believe that anything actually is possible, I also believe that SKT T1 S could lose to Prime without throwing.

This part of the forum is to talk about the games not about making wild claims that could seriously hurt an organisation.

people have this simple conception of a public image maximizing corporation but this is sometimes not true. the esports division may care about winning for its name at all costs, and sometimes this drive puts it in an inconsistent position to other interests the entire corporation may consider beneficial. from past records skt is not above doing something like this even after the savior scandal, and other korean teams like KT in groups have doen the same. the only way for the fan backlash to matter is if the actual corporate mechanism responds to it, and this probably would come from a higher up entity than the skt esports team itself.
