I've been pretty much waiting for a situation like this to arise, and if the worst does happen, Riot would be feeling pretty vindicated that they have been so strict on sibling teams in the LCS. It wouldn't even matter if the matches were deliberately thrown or not; the suspicion that they were would be strong enough to compromise the integrity of the competition. that just leads to what's kinda happening in NA, it'll just be "oh no we're not sister teams trust me we have different names! We just happen to live together and scrim each other a lot!"

SKT as organization would never want to have so much negative attention just to get K out of the group stage instead of S. You're so naive I bet you think TSM and C9 are two separate teams with no ties whatsoever as well

At this point it's probably much better anyway if K drops out and comes back in fullforce in OGN Summer since they have enough circuit points for almost guaranteed worlds qualification anyway. If Prime indeeds pulls a miracle 2:0 here and K beats S in the tiebreaker people will always doubt if it was legit.
