It all comes down to what you expect out of them.
I'm good enough at this game I don't need them to tell me what's happening or the strategy, I just want to feel like I'm hanging out watching the game with em. when you watch LoL or anything with your friends do you always agree on weather or not something was a good strategy or why something happened? Do you your friends make mistakes on ability names etc? if you know enough to correct them then why did you need them to be right in the first place.

Don't think you can do that anymore. They have Shiptur now, who's just about as good in his mid role as Zion at top. Shiptur has like 3 Challenger characters atm. Only other person is Wildturtle..

you mean the guy who played mid for them the entire summer split in which the finished 7th? Not even trying to say he's bad I'm just saying it's hard to judge if they have actually improved based on their games in this league where Zion just runs roughshod all over every game, something that when happened in the LCS they also crushed every game.

chaox hasn't played for like a year. this is more of a mashme can't play situation than "we got chaox" \
i mean i wouldn't be shocked if chaox is on coast in a week, but the decision itself seems to be at least partly due to mashme's situation as well as chaox

I mean I don't have information that anyone else does not have, but he did temporarily move into the Coast house to begin his training to "return pro", when he made his announcement that he was ready a lot of the coast players had good things to say about him, so it's not like the evidence is rock solid, but with them having a tight relationship with him, and now with mashme leaving, you look at whats available (assuming the rumors are true that Aphro is headed back to CLG) with timing into consideration this looks like the pickup, LODx being a high elo AD in the NA scene is not exactly a new phenominon he's been around for a while something changed for them to cut Mashme, is it Chaox looking for a team? I think so, but I don't know.

I think that during their time off it looks like nintendude tightened up his fundamentals and zion has gotten more used to getting targeted now.
