to be fair in the first game, vayne janna doesn't beat varus thresh. If china 2v2'd NA in the second game and doublelift wasn't able to take at least the same lead weixiao did against vayne with urgot then you could argue weixiao is better because he was able to not lose in a lane he has a clear disadvantage in but they 1v2'd so we won't know.

The majority of bot lane during the lane phase is the support. Doublelift beating WX, or vice versa doesn't prove that the ad is better. The best it can imply is that one support ouplayed the other.

So appearntly the korean all star has only 10 scrims
Insec: We scrimmed about ten games total. At first, it didn't work out; however, eventually it worked out. I think it's because we are all good players.

I ended up falling asleep and just watched the VoDs of the NA v China game, damn that Game 2 throw
They had such an advantage and just made a few too many mistakes.

The skill curve basically scales infinitely, so what they terms as "good" from their perspective is probably miles above other definitions of "good." The games last night were heavily influenced by individual skill before team movements became a factor.
When the NA players hyped up their chances so much, I kind of bought into it to, and thought that perhaps this game was a normalized one. For example, if LoL "skill" was like height, if you are in the top 10% of tall people, the tallest guy is not going to be that much taller than you.
It's clear that LoL "skills" scales instead with a power law: if you are in the top 10% of income earners, the top of that bracket is actually 10-20x more than the average.

According to Reach, they only started practicing after they arrived in Shanghai. They practiced with the remaining CJ & Najin players with around 100 ping with spikes up to 200 - 300 and lost most of the games.

Flame/Helios/Rapidstar/Hermes/Lustboy is a pretty scary team.

Also the Tryndamere pick what the fuck.

Let's not forget NA prepared soley for the Chinese, as saintvicious said : We either go 2-0 or we go down 0-2 we prepared everything for the chinese we either crush or burn.
I still would favor them for there teamwork seems better then that of EU + no language barrier on snap calls. But any team with a Diamond can make things close

Are you guys for real? Sure I want na to beat eu... But sayin they are heavily favored?!? Na heavily out picked china in game two, and played as expected during laning phase, and then highlighted their abysmal decision making and teamwork. I think they only way that na are in wih a shot is if they outdraft eu, and then follow it up (which should be entirely doable mechanically, but their shot calling just looks terrible), and I don't think that is likely to happen. Alex is going to take something that scarra can't outlane without diana, Edward is going to take an aggressive support, which will leave special lift on the back foot, and dyrus - well, it doesn't really matter.
I mean Alex + diamond alone is goin to be too much for scarra + saint to control unless they pick up champs with a really strong anti counter jungle presence. I want na to win... I just think theyve got a really narrow way to do it, which they'll ignore / overlook / discount for some stupid late game strat.

Haven't seen the games but honestly who in NA would you send? There isn't a single AP player who can compete with anyone else at All-Stars.
Also, ty TL for giving me alternative opinions on DL performance.

Well I don't think scarra is any worse than any other na mid choices, I just don't think na is good at doing strong early mid + jungle counter jingling offense or defense. I'd like to see double play urgot again, and I think that Janna is a really important pick for saint to be able to have effective ganks, if eu give na the compthey got game 2 vs china, then I think they have a respectable shot, but I don't see eu allowing it thru draft unless they have a specific plan.

Regi if for no other reason than to get a decent shot caller. That "we're 10k ahead, lets sit in a random bush" stuff was terrible.

Yeah, was pretty funny to see china not buy into it at all.

Its like nyjacky doesnt exist... and aside from massive urgot towerdive throw. Dl was instrumental in NA getting a huge lead in game 2. He was so strong he could 1v2 for a long time, which allowed stv and xpecial to finish off bad ganks from china

Just finished NA vs China. The fuck man...you guys gad game 2. Too much Scarra Dignitas throw influence. =[

I mean apart from not being able to press a 7k gold advantage, the tower dive at the bot tier 2 turret vs a Baron Team has to be the biggest facepalm LoL moment ~last 6months

NA v CN, Game 2, is going to be the defining moment of NA LCS for a long, long time.
