rjcombo is basically their lead on most things you see on their UI.

@danielzklein @SotLTravis Also, @psotto is the design lead on spectator now.

Assuming CLG beat DIG.
Dig put up some great games vs TSM even with Soraka/Lulu banned out.

Solid. They had oracles plent, but couldnt offord it on supp/noc after deaths It happened once.
I don't think that not affording it is an option in that situation though. You HAVE to have an oracle or else the enemy team is just going to dance with you to make you move around the map while they double back and ward clear over and over until you have no vision or no wards left and have to go get more. Not having oracles is unsustainable in the long run in a baron standoff against a competent team. Eventually you will be forced to facecheck something you don't have vision of or you concede baron to the other team.
You have to buy it on someone. Dig didn't, and it probably cost them the game.

Holy shit, CLG dominated MM. Those games don't even look close lol.

I'll be truthful. I'm not too sure what your point is here. If it's on the UI in any way, you can count on rjcombo having some hand in it. Even in the thread I linked, he gives specific names to other individuals. Not too sure what you're trying to say by that. I thought I was pretty clear with the way I worded things.

The game one was a surprisng stomp which was pretty neat by TSM. Dig thought the bans would just be against the 3 Support comp but they forgot about the old ban soraka pick Karthus strategy.
I'm curious to how CLG will deal with the 3 support strategy. Hopefully they ban better, but they might have a strategy that involves not having to ban out all 3. Not sure what counters Soraka mid, but I'm sure there are counters. Voyboy seems to think Lulu is broken, but not sure if they think Soraka is broken or just annoying. Kog Maw can be dealt with right champs like Nocturne or Ashe like always without the 3 supports backing him up.

Although CLG did rage a lot, neither SV not HSGG's outbursts were as dramatic and over the top as Reginald's. Plus SV has long been considered to be the best jungler in the American scene.
But this new TSM impressed me a whole lot. Plus the addition of Dyrus has changed my feelings a lot, as Dyrus is incredibly calm and composed, and is always willing to admit fault when he does something wrong.
Plus, it's quite clear that TheOddOne has been aware of people's criticisms of him never farming the jungle, and now it's apparent that he can play a farm/carry style when the situation calls for it and still play support style when necessary.
I just feel TSM has made great strides in its play and this is a stark contrast to the stagnation that they were experiencing between Kiev and Hannover.
Long story short... I don't know who to cheer for if this situation were to arise. But man I love Dyrus. :D

I wasn't making any point. I was just correcting old information. No offense intended.

after all this, i still haven't seen anything impressive or innovative outside of Dig's "Support" comp. i still think M5 can easily topple them all. thechampionship matches between M5 and Dig at Hannover showed just how M5 is on another level strategically.

Hm, okay. my fault. I looked too much into that. The thread also is pretty outdated, but I felt it best conveyed what rjcombo does/did/has done/etc

The way I see it.
Scarra says Soraka is unbeatable in lane and ungankable by AP junglers. Voyboy believes that Lulu is also very strong in lane.
So they design a comp around these two heroes, and then exploit the fact that not many people have laned competitively vs lulu or soraka or thought about it much at all, they win their lanes hands down or even in the picks because of unfamiliarity.
Not sure if CLG will just ban them out and give them the heroes they want (Lee sin/Anivia?) or given two days let them practice the lanes/figure out how to properly pick and play vs this comp.

TSM is going to have such a huge advantage since they only have to play 1 series tomorrow and much more time to prepare for whoever they play. If CLG beats Dignitas but there's internal strife, it may carry over and put them on tilt vs. TSM. But still rooting for CLG to take it!

But the winning team is also warmed up and extremely motivated, while TSM might be fresh or nervous.

How the the actual finals work? I'm not sure I get the whole extended series thing... Does it mean they play two bo3s and TSM only has to win one?

That's what I got from it. IPL's page didn't have a specific line about the extended series so I just assumed that it's the standard double elim where the winner from the upper bracket gets a 1 set lead. I think this makes more sense since they have 2x 4h time slots for the finals.
Could be wrong though seeing how WCG screwed that whole double elim thing up.
