He just had a tiny pool of junglers he played well. This tounrey he's shown he can play the bruiser junglers. That seems to be the problem with most of the NA teams, small pool of champions that they play. Compared with M5 jungler who has like 10 junglers with 70% win ratio on his ranked page. It's probably the biggest reason why Dyrus is doing so much better than TRM ever did. He got to 2300 with teemo. Once. Before teemo was nerfed. Same with hotshot, jiji, doublelift. Scarra plays almost fucking anything, same with salce. Now that I'm writing this it seems really obvious why the euro teams are stomping most of the NA teams when they are all in a pool. It's also that TSM is letting TOO spend less time babysitting lanes and more time farming. He's no longer babysitting mid and top 24/7 and is actually finding space and time to farm.
actually i dont find this to be true though.. I find most games the same things happen.. regi invades his own jungle. TOO camping lanes and basically his CS is still behind. Only difference is TSM actually shows really amazing teamplay and regi played really amazing in teamfights this tourney. TOO has always been a good jungler. Regi has always been an amazing solo mid (but sometimes his teamfight is abit derpy). TOO plays support-style and SV plays more carry-oriented. Neither is more right nor wrong.
How many games did we see Regi get fed lvl 1 blue.. at least 3? haha. (I didn't watch the TSM/Dig g2/g3 though)

(I didn't watch the TSM/Dig g2/g3 though) Well, the oddone actually outlvld the supports in this tourney instead of falling behind, regi didn't play amazing but he didn't make mistakes like going overagressive when enemy jungler walks past his ward, or bad ults etc. He had like 2 bad ults out of 10 or so in a game.

Not that I want to belittle TSM's success in reaching the grand finals, but in my humble opinion the brackets favoured them from the beginning. As a team that lives in a gaming house for months and now even has a personal coach, anything else than cruising straight to the semifinals would have been at least as disappointing as their performance in Hannover.
EPIK is weakened by the roster changes and I wouldn't call neither Curse nor v8 a top tier NA team (still in my opinion) whereas the upper bracket forced 3 of the top teams already to bash each other.
CLG vs. TSM would be my dream final (reminding me of times without M5 where these two teams were considered the best ones making matches between them a "derby" like in football for example), but w/e, will also be interesting if d makes it to the grand finals.

Nevermind,
CLG or dig v TSM should be a great match. Fan favorites and everything that accompanies it.

CLG vs TSM for nostalgia, imo.

It's a 8 player double elimination bracket. There's not really much difference between teams that have to go to the finals. I don't see TSM's route significantly harder than the others.
TSM didn't play either of the teams that came last (aAa, EPIK). TSM played two of the teams CLG had to (v8 and Dignitas). Dignitas probably had the hardest bracket but TSM had to beat them to get into the grand finals. Dignitas get to play a team they already beat to get to the finals. (CLG)

Eh, I think Dignitas deserve a win at a big tournament - I enjoy their capacity to surprise. It seems Voyboy is tag-teaming for Scarra this tournament in the "who gets camped the hardest", though :/
Really enjoyed what games of Mono's I've seen, too - good to see a new team step up

Havent watched tsm vs dignitas yet but TSM seems alot stronger with Dyrus on the team, judging from scrims and recent matches.
Reginald not feeding mid like crazy probably also plays a part, bot lane is most consistant and solid lane in TSM imo.

oddone has been playing amazingly. I think him eating healthier and seeing the Doc might have something to do with it

I doubt a diet change actualy makes you farm better. Instead ill prefer to believe that they are finaly seeing the problems they had and are working to overcome it.

A proper diet compared to a shitty diet actually does make you play better, playing a game may not be physical excerise but you still need to be fit. You react better, you think better etc with a good diet instead of lolsodamicrowavebaylife.

how long till first match starts?

2 hours and 10min till the official start.

this is totally true... especially if you fucking skin is falling off when you move, that probably isn't optimal. good food can make you more focused and alert too compared to junky shit

So i was mulling over CLG vs DIG this morning.
Can CLG win with any of their standard comps if they decide not to ban out DIG's lulu/soraka/kogmaw comp?

this guy is right. half a year ago i was a wreck. eating junk food/pre-made meals for years because of my work schedule was really taking a toll on my body, but after i switched to a healthy diet i discovered a whole new world.
eating healthy improves pretty much everything in your life. you're fitter, more alert, able to concetrate longer and harder and overall happier (at least in my case). by eating fast food you're gaining around 1 hour of free time you would've spend cooking, but it's just not worth it in the long run.
