At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread.

At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament.

Thanks.

has nothing to do with any of those picks imo... they gave curse the combo of morg + kog + nunu.

Morgana not the problem. Orianna is wayyyyyyy better at «protect the kog».

I don't agree, but ok...

Orianna...Shield + MS, A good peel Ult. To use the MS, you put a nuke on cd.

Morg...Shield + CANCELLING EVERY CC, A good peel Ult.

I don't understand how Ori is in Morg's class at "Protect the Kog".

I think the sub did a good job at protecting kog there. I'm really happy for Crs, what an upset!

Problem was Rainman didn't do his job. Rainman's main job should be killing Kogmaw, but couldn't do it.

no, rainman had no way of getting to kog.

I said "couldn't", meaning he didn't have the ability to do so. I didn't mean that Rainman did poorly. But tbh Rainman could've knocked top tower really early, when he gained the 40 cs advantage. He should've just bullied the shit out of the pug even harder, and knocked that tower asap. Rather he wanders around map not really accomplishing to much, and getting his tower killed really quickly.

Yeah I don't see how that's even possible for Morg to be less effective than Orianna at defending a Kog vs a Gragas/Sona/Maokai team. All those great timed black shields totally nullified any Gragas ult, Orianna would have to salvage scraps from that.

Cough.

Not just him though. A lot of people, like Two_DoWn, thought the same thing. People need to have a better eye on how teams look at their most recent.

People don't know about dat Nyjacky.

The sub is a champ. Didn't fall behind but didn't suck either. With a last minute sub, all you really want from him is to not suck, not lose lane, not be dead weight in team fights.

And like I said before Nyjacky and Cop are goooooood.

I was really impressed with his discipline to not over extend against TRM. There weren't too many wards on the map mid game, because of the double oracle, and Shyvanna sacrificed some cs to be safe. Overall just really smart, safe play. Exactly what you want from an unknown quantity.

To be fair, though, I would guess that Rainman moving middle was probably a team call and not him acting on his own initiative.

It wasn't his irelia that was his problem, it was his inability to use his CS advantage in the game.

i honestly can't tell who's worse, reginald or the rain main
i really want to say that TRM is the reason they lost that (his teamfighting was pretty atrocious throughout, especially considering he was a kill and 50 cs up on shyvana); but at the same time, reginald's body-slam -> ult nothing combo setting up all those fail teamfights was pretty terrible too.

basically i figured the gragas pick was to shut down the kog pick: you save the gragas ult for the nunu ult. nunu will be hugging kog to protect him from irelia, nunu ults when irelia dives -> gragas separates kog and nunu with his own ult, then lands barrel to shut down kog's AS. instead, reginald was trying to catch completely coordinated players out with his ult. this isn't solo queue, TSM needs to stop playing like it is

regardless, TOO is so good, stuck with such bads, poor guy. i have also seen a ton of people hype xpecial's play but i was not uber impressed. xpecial + chaox is supposed to be the best bot lane combo right? why are they losing to elementzzzzzz

basically just an outstanding game by Curse, and really unimpressive play by all of TSM except for the odd little jungler.
would you ever miss it?

Indeed, protecting kog and zoning sivir he did a great job as. I kinda feel that TSM could of ganked top lane a bit more considering he is the weak spot and Irelia was naturally stronger.

Who's the subbed player again?

Curse had a great performance run. TheOddOne did very well but the rest of his team was lacklustre.

For me, this was the most exciting game of IEM Hannover thus far. :3

And I also think Morg > Ori for that team comp. Anti-CC is just too much.

I couldn't sleep so I got to watch this match live, so take my analysis for what an overtired Canadian can provide.

Whenever Irelia tried to do her job, not only was there a Nunu in place, there was a Morganna ult. If Morganna hit more than one person, they would leave, but Rainman would try to do his duty, more often just ending up in the middle of 5 enemy heros. He'd do damage fine, but without his teammates poking or hitting, KogMaw just healed up within 7 auto attacks.

Dunno if that is Rainman going deep unneccisarily, good defense, or TSM not following up. Or if I'm just completely wrong.
I'm From Canada, so they think I'm slow, eh?

Not to mention, the pug was almost always pushing hte lane (though he wasn't over extended).

Regi missed several key ults that could've gave insta gibbs or won teamfights, Chaox constantly got hit by morg Qs and took tons of un-needed dmg and forced his team to play defensive giving up positions, and Kogmaw played amazingly well and got several early kills during teamfights which gave him some huge momentum.

Basically summary of the game from a TSM fanboy lol. That last teamfight was the best one they did all game imo, hope that meant they had their gameplan figured out.

edit: Subbed played name was "Plote" don't know if hes on EU west or east but they said he was German. He did ok in lane, was behind in CS all game compared to TRM but he didn't unnecessarily either. Did his job ulting into teamfights and attacking the focus.
