At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 06.03.2012 |

Mundo works too. In the Curse game Mundo cleared so fast and dueled so well that they had a tough time counterjungling him.

Zenon: How did that game happen? Nyph: Well, they played well and countered our comp. Zenon: You went for an all AoE comp. So how did you decide to go for picks such as Galio? Alex Ich: We were discussing how to beat their AoE comp, like split pushing and I was suggesting Twisted Fate but my team suggested Galio because he scales off MRes and can sit there and still CC and do damage. So it counters their AoE from like Vladimir and Morgana well. Zenon: So Nyph, if you lose to TSM there's the risk of leaving the group. You guys have been scriming a lot. How's the TSM v SK matchup? Nyph: We've been winning. They've been winning. It's kinda even. Zenon: It's going to be a hard fought match because it matters to both of you. Does it factor in to pick/bans? Like because they're desperate, you ban a certain way? Nyph: Hm. Well, maybe. But I think now it just comes down to playing your solid comps and doing what you do best. Zenon: So Alex, you're guaranteed 1st place. But you have one more game against Sypher. Be honest. When you came in, were you expecting to make first? Alex Ich: Mission successful. Zenon: What was going on in the voice chat during the end of the game? Alex Ich: I dunno. Was just trying random stuff haha. Zenon: Thanks very much for the interview. Now coming down to the last match of the game. Selfishly for me I like that you lost because not the match matters and I get to cast it!

In case TSM beats SK, time is the next tiebreaker. Losing is bad, but getting stomped is far worse for SK in this case.

Not banned or picked. Why is Shen banned all the time now? Near infinite sustain, scales incredibly hard off HP items, allows for insane split pushing midgame, denies most mid game ganks. Huh. Was this always the case or was it the recent buffs he received (if any)?
We have resident experts though who claim he's not that strong.

Did Darien keep that red pot unused in his inventory for the entire game?
He used it the third time he went all in on vlad. The time vlad lived with like 5% hp and amumu came up just after just to watch wukong walk away.

I think he started his answer with something along the lines of "I was thinking how to counter an AOE comp, like, oh, split pushing, and suggested Twisted Fate, but my team told me to pick Galio [rest of answer]". Don't think I've seen Alex on TF, though.

I think TSM will pull through.

Since time is an issue, i think TSM should go for a lvl1 fight team and bait a fight.

No, but most other junglers knows how to play way more champions - or at least they shows way more junglers. I just don't understand why nobody ban/pick their most played hero. Well here's something to think about, if you are able to pick your best champion, why would you not pick them? I think it's rather dumb to pick a more "interesting" jungler if it doesn't give you a higher chance to win. Also saying they go for the same stuff every time is just really stupid, their mid and top have been different in just about every single game, and they even played Urgot botlane FFS. What more do you want? Just because they like running Lee Sin in the jungle they now have a boring playstyle? I'm not actually blaming M5, it's just all games I watch coming from them is the same : they run in their jungle, play that amazing type of play, and no teams ban their best heroes or almost never. I don't know, nobody seems to adapt to their style of play.

M5 >>> the rest. I felt sad for SK, those russians are too good.

Last match of the day, what? Last televised match?

In Kiev, we were nearly shouting from rooftops "OMFG BAN SHYVANA" because all teams were like "we got dis covered" and let them have shynanananan and got punished so incredibly hard it wasn't funny.

Wow, that's a lot more time than I would have expected.
I assume that that means Curse is through unless they somehow lose to Ehome?

Kev1n really is too inconsistent. His first death 1v1 and his falling behind that required amumu presence top really played a big part in costing SK that game. Amumu pressure on bot lane could have swung the game so differently against a kog / nunu comp. Oce also left his lane too frequently for plays that weren't very well thought out, most of them were top centered because SK top was so far behind too. Sad, SK stood a really good chance.

Does anyone know which server Diamondpr0x/M5 play on(euw or ne) and what's the account name?

Any tricks up your sleeve? You don't have to tell us obviously.
