Its like banelings on cocaine. It's really hard, but they're also fairly easy to pick off and take up a lot more micro than you'd think from the Toss. Partially helped by the fact a lot of the other units, like adepts, don't need micro during fights too much. The real struggle is when they're used in tandem with a warp prism, I feel. How do you suggest i pick them off exactly ? Either they just stay in the back of the army and they suddenly storm into mine (and splitting against toss is not really a dream situation ![](/mirror/smilies/frown.gif) ) or they come from a warp prims. It would be cool if i could EMP them while they were in the invincible mode but heh.
I mean they typically get picked off after one use. It's harder with a warp prism, but keep in mind you can't put a disrupter back into the prism until after it goes off, so they'd have to put it immediately into the prism.
Vikings to snipe the prism does wonders (you'd think you wouldn't need them since ppl don't build Colossi anymore, but that's where they have their use).

Is their a way to correctly bind liberators abilities to keyboard?

Does lotv have higher system requirements than hots? I ask this because my fps in LotV are WAY lower than in Hots. I have quite low fps on hots too but below 200 supply it's still perfectly playable. LotV on the other hand is completely unplayable once the supply goes above 100.

People says that this is caused by bad optimization of the 64-bit client. Check support or forums, I think there was a way to use the 32-bit client one.
Once the client gets refined and improved, SC2 is supposed to run the same as HotS or even better. I hope they do it, since Starcraft2 is very optimized for less powerful computers but still awful for maximum settings even in very high end PCs.
I suppose that due to Heroes using the same engine, LotV is going to run much smoother due to the fact that they have worked hard on Heroes and will work even more.

thank you, on 32-bit client it works fine.

Every time I try to open legacy it promptly minimizes and there is nothing I can do to get it to come back. It will just continue to minimize. Anyone experience this and have a solution?

How should i open in TvP if i want a slightly greedy macro build that is safe against the most common pokes? are oracles and blink play still threats that define the opening phase? everything is just feeling so wierd with the new starting eco.
|
My greedy opener in TvP is cc first high ground, into rax gaz rax facto.
Oracle, even the fastest proxy, comes a bit later compared to mineral income, so it's easy to have enough marine to handle it, even with a reaper expand start. Just seen blink allin one time or two, it seems pretty weak.
The more common early threats are: - 2 gates adept, sometime with a zealot first, where you just need to wall off and add a bunker, then get WMs and 1 or 2 marauders, - proxy oracle, where you just need marines, then WM

Any cool all ins on 1 or 2 bases for Z/P (against any race)

why won't blizzard fix the lurker?

Hi.. Just got Beta 2 weeks ago . Played like 15-20 games as random (mostly P and T) is the current meta is just macroing til like 100 supply before any action starts?. It feels that me and most of my opponents just macro and max out before anything happens.

am i the only one disliking lurker "stacking"?

Is there a one stop shop for every single change/addition/subtraction that is going on in LotV? I'm recently back into sc2 and am trying to get fully caught up on where the beta is at (without beta key ), and was hoping there was a single place I could read up on everything

No they are not. I just tested it by storming my own intercepters

I have modified my hotkeys in hots a lot, and I'd like to avoid redoing it all in lotv. Is there a way to export/import my hotkeys from hots to lotv? ty.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think every hotkey profile you create is stored in some simple file (I think some xml, I don't remember exactly) in your computer, under SC2 folder in the windows documents folder [My Documents > Starcraft II > (Your account folder) > Hotkeys.] I don't know about Mac.
If you find it, you will possibly be able to just copy it into LotV (Starcraft II Beta, same route) folder, following the same route, and it should work .

Hiho guys,
is there any Roach-Nydus build yet, to counter the greedy 3reaper, 6+Hellion, fast third CC build from terran? What would be the gas timings in your opinion? Do you think Roach-Nydus is a good answer to this particular greedy T build in general?
Beste regards.
EDIT: or maybe ravager play?

Some guys in general chat claimed that it wasn't possible, so I did it by hand. I guess that shows the potential use of general chat, and the flaw of it.

has anyone figured out how to beat lurkers and hydras as toss?
specifically when they are half decent at splitting the lurkers up?
