thats why i made new account to try out "new player experience", runes and summoners are still level restricted which is mind boggling, it does feel i get slightly more essence than before but level rewards are rng based which i hate with a passion, my lvl10 reward was my first milestone with "bigger" capsule and i got janna shard, orange essence, a useless ashe skin and a ward skin, on a brand new accounts which needs champions it felt terrible.

It's super fun losing because 3 members of your team are inting and raging at each other. That's just never an actual solution. How am I meant to have fun with thresh blitz bot lane that feed within the first 2 minutes.

Yeah. And besides the usual preseason "it doesn't matter" vibe there is also the fact that no one actually knows what is good now, the changes were so big. I mean some things are clearly just bad. But maybe there is so much damage around now that trying to stand way back and hit autos without being blown up is a fools errand and the new best bot lane is two bruisers instead of a support and ADC? (Btw I haven't tried or seen this) How would we know for sure? People doing strange things might legit be testing the new right way to play and not goofing off. Things are very different right now.

Edit: just wanted to note that I don't personally have any views on what strange things might be good under the new system, just that some people might

The match making in normal is so bonkers right now I got matched with a challenger adc to support while meanwhile our midlaner had 12 cs @10 and claimed he won lane because he was 1-0 (off of my gank btw)

tfw their 2 lowest rank players are equivalent to your best players and their 3 best players are at the top of the ladder

and yes ranked is meaningless right now. i think the balance is worse than normals because people are actually trolling harder on ranked lmao. you usually just end up with 1 team with more tryhards and op champs while the other team is just straight inting it.

sometimes you end up with something stupid though like my mid yesterday lost lane and went 0-2 against a nunu with disco nunu sum spells but we won because its a useless nunu.
