Lulu and Janna simply don't do what karma does. They're not fast enough around the map, they use too much mana, they don't have enough turn potential when things go well. While karma does do what they do almost as well if not better than them they cannot replicate Karmas advantages.
It's not like I don't know how Janna plays. I've played hundreds of games on her over the years. I have far more experience of all sorts on Janna. She just isn't as strong as e max karma right now.
Edit: one of the hidden advantages of e max karma is that with rank 1 e spamming it on yourself is worth about 10% move speed over the course of the usage. While at rank 5 it's about 20% due to the lower CD and higher bonus. So you can more easily traverse the map to help allies/rotate. 1 second root seems pretty meh to me compared to having your main poke spell at level 1 LOL the extra movement speed is nice i guess it helps karmas lane phase because she has okay (but not great)) roam I thought that too but 45 damage on a 950 range spell just isn't worth it if it doesn't come with hard pick potential. It's important for a mid because they need that to clear waves. Support karma does not. And support karma without shield max is in a dangerous position using q to siege/poke. But an extra second of root is an extra second before an enemy can bail after diving. It's an extra second of dps your ally can do without being attacked when you prevent someone from getting to her/him. Re: amui E max karma wins lane in precisely the same way that e max Janna wins lane. Except the speed up gives you more options to harass and engage. You really do not need the points in q. With AP karma isn't that strong. Just look at her overall ratios. They're not that high. What she needs is CDR in order to catapult her mantra usage. (Because the mantra CD reduction from your passive occurs after the %reduction from items/masteries). And tank(y AP) to survive to mantra E or mantra W bait more. Not that AP is bad but it's better to survive to mantra e/w another day than it is to get a slightly bigger shield. Ardent censor and banner of command are very strong on her (censor applies to everyone in her mantra e so in a team fight you can apply it to everyone about 66% of the time and one person 100% and she can sheild the banner promoted minion in a siege to keep it alive longer) AP Karma isn't that strong...
So you E yourself, walk next to someone, QWRQ and they die. But yeah not strong.
It does seem like you are obsessed with what you are saying now.

You can kill someone on support gold/xp by walking up to them and waiting for 5 seconds before using your mantra Q.
Uhh ok. Shit that is dangerous on mid levels of gold.

i never said ap karma was the way to go, at least as support. you're comparing 1 rank of q to 5 ranks on E//W for some reason
janna isnt really known to be someone who wins lane you play for her strength after lane

Yes I was talking at the margin. I should have said 180 damage on your poke.
The part about AP was directed to amui whom I did not quote because I am on my phone atm

This is a normal ganking Karma rotation, I dont know why you are acting like it's hard to pull off. QWRQ with autos in between is basic, E yourself to keep W on them or E your teammate to have them help.

Riot forced themselves between a rock and a hard place. Dynamic queue is unfixable, especially at the highest level. Infuriating. That whole post is hollow pandering.
I'd rather they said nothing.

We are not releasing solo queue, because we are fixing problems with dynamic queue. The problem with dynamic queue is the solo player experience, so before we release solo queue we first have to improve the solo player experience in dynamic queue.

Posted it in LR, but what would happen if TP was now 6min CD, but reduced by 30 seconds per kill/assist gained in the next 20 seconds, to really make it a strategical pickup rather than a free ticket to lane phase for some champs.
|
I don't think it would have much of an effect. The impact of TP past lane phase is so far beyond anything else that it would be really hard to push top laners off of it, especially with lane swaps effectively removing any semblance of a normal lane phase from the majority of games when it comes to top lane.
With at least 12 in Resolve, which is pretty much standard for top laners, that's an increase of 51 seconds. On a TP to bot that results in to kill that come out to 9 seconds less. When they get the Distortion enchantment for their boots the nerf goes to 42 seconds and in an ideal scenario of a participation ace, you'd get down to 2:12 timer.
It might make laning a bit tougher, but the late game would get even more impactful, leading people to take it anyway. I'd just increase the CD and see if you can get mid laners to stop taking it, which is where I think the issue with it is competitively.
|
Two things, is anyone having issues seeing their friends list?
Also are Riot ever going to address 'see more stats' not working or are they just hoping we forget about it?

You would see games snowballing hardier off the first tp play that is all. Also note top laners will take insight master anyway. As said above lane swaps destroy any point of ignite. Really you need a team-play based alternative but its hard to match the global power of teleport. Heck shen/tf/nocturne/etc are based off the inherent power.

As a boot enchantment though everyone takes it. 5 man ports too powerful.
