Kinda neat though. Wish I could play her before she gets a reactive "I'm in LCS now" nerf.

2. The pre-seasons are functioning as a community soft meta-reset. Nobody plays weird shit once the metas are established, and pre-season gives rise to a lot more experimentation and people can find picks that were previously underestimated. Usually there's some indirect buffs (Vel'koz for example - he scales poorly so was less impacted by AP itemization changes, but he was better than people used to give him credit for) but people just experiment and you can settle on finding strong off-meta picks without the community and teammates jumping down your throat. Not sure if troll. He's been out for less than 12 hrs. But anyway. He's definitely going to be hard to place in a lane and even harder to play in competitive. I think he definitely has unique utility, but he might be useless in this metagame where everything is only valuable based on it's relationship to sieging earlygame. Maybe his waveclear will be sufficient enough to make him playable, we'll see. As an aside, I doubt games will become any less stagnant than they are right now with these changes. IEM proves that playing w/ the same siege champs is really the only viable way to play this game right now at the highest level (slumping SKT sweeps lol), and I really dont see anything in this patch to change that. Early turret hp still matters way too much. At best we will see J4 or Hec + 1 or 2 random other champs (Kennen, Orianna?) get added into the meta pool by my personal prediction. Otherwise we still gonna have Corki Lux shitfests mid lane. Corki still does all the things they used to complain he did (hypercarry level damage with no risk). Cait is going to become more relevant with Kalista changes. No reason to pick vayne, twitch, fizz, irelia, riven, draven, Xerath, veig, Yasuo, Kass or Cass. All because they'd get shoved into their turret early, lose it then get snowballed on because of their poor waveclear or ability to rotate or inherent risk to pick (why pick Xer when you can pick Corki and do more damage with valk for safety?). Id personally love to see some of them come back just to lighten things up a bit and give me some dynamic gameplay to watch again, but those seasonal changes really blunted things man. :/ Of course its way premature! I just think its really fun to do predictions right after game changes and then we get to see who looks like a retard/god in 3 months. Its like a time capsule!

If you can get ahead and snowball you have more teamfight impact, but you're still useless 90% of the time up to that point. Vi changes on the other hand have helped her quite a bit since now you don't get dicked by the jungle nearly as hard.
