I don't think I buy over 10 potions past the initial 3 when I'm jungling. Yup. I buy it on everybody and love it. I get by on jungle item/refill starts and on first back I pick up Hunter's Potion and the other jungle item. Yeah, it delays the smite upgrade/jungle wards for a bit but it keeps you so active on the map by keeping health and mana up. If the potion is at max stacks and you clear a large monster is automatically triggers that charge you would have "lost". Since I start refill, it only needs to replace 7 potions cost wise.
Which junglers are you playing? I think keeping it as Refill is good enough on most junglers except farm oriented like Amumu

hunter's potion is great, the way it works it gives you regen which gets amplified by being in the jungle so if you don't 100% spam it's good as blue buff
re: garen i like swifties + dmp for super duper running power, but i'll give the sunfire a try. i'm tilted as you fildun, can't seem to win games

I was criticizing some jungle poppy players for upgrading refill, because if you time your skills correctly you really don't take damage beyond your knife regen. However after trying it I was converted, being 100% instead of 80% can mean a lot in some ganks, as well as just getting the raw wall bump damage to clear the camp faster instead of timing it for shield cd. I'm clearing faster and more reliably at 100%, made me a believer.

I don't think Refill provides enough value in and of itself to keep around long term to justify the item slot.

Wait, is Quinn jungle a thing? Or are you just a silly billy?
Also, what have people found to be the priority for roles in the new champ select? I've been queuing Jungle/ADC and getting ADC every time. Is Jungle highly contested or am I just getting odd luck?

quinn jungle has been a thing since her Q stuns monsters now. and warriors is so efficient.

I think it just depends on the day and who's in your queue with you. I get a lot of jungle (even on jungle/support) but I have a 3/4 man stack who take up popular roles.

Quinn is pretty baller as a jungler. The monster blind on Q, ability to interrupt attacks with E, and the improved Valor marking make her clear pretty fast and safe. Her ult is incredible for getting around the map.

I have mild PTSD from having an idiot midlaner who got repeatedly ganked by a Quinn jungle and kept complaining about 700 movespeed. Not that constant pushing with no wards wasn't a factor or anything. /s
I've been picking jungle/top, seems like a pretty equal balance between the two.
EDIT: anyone interested in leveling up a new account with me? i've given up on my old one which is a complete trainwreck, so just trying to make my way back to 30. shame to lose a bunch of champs, but it's k.

Huh, I did not know that. This new LoL is a strange but interesting place.

Warrior is weaker because the additional AD doesn't compensate for the loss of ArPen for about anything that has base damage, though.
And I probably don't optimise my Pantheon clear enough (I'm already weaving autos and spells to trigger his passive as much as possible, and not casting a spell after W till the block is removed, tried QWE and QEW), but it still feels really slow and I take so much damage I don't think it'd be safe trying to gank without a 3rd pot if my target is bursty or I risk getting counterganked (although slow like that, I remember starting Krugs and the enemy Rengar ganked top while I was barely finishing blue... ).
On top of that, if I want to gank early I'll like boots over a refillable pot. And then it makes for a very late jungle item if I get both boots and hunter's potion first. I admit that the mp5 on someone like Nautilus, Pantheon or Vi would be sweet but... then again I haven't tried full clears in awhile (and I'm pretty sure Pantheon can't). Takes too long because somebody will fuck up and you need to be ready to gank rather early to make up for it either in their lane or elsewhere.

I thought that Death's Dance was a terrible item for ADC's? That they should avoid any damage even something that spreads it over time like this item does?

Pantheon still runs oom and loses to defensive starts+sustain, still gets camped, still doesn't offer enough to transition to a tanky build (compare his lategame burst and damage to Fiora off of Hydra, full tank Poppy, or his sustained damage to Tahm Kench's: his stun isn't enough to justify building tanky over damage, and even when building damage he has trouble competing with FotM frontliners) and is still pretty unsafe to apply his damage later on since he doesn't have an escape if he gets interrupted.
He prob bodies some champions (I assume he should body Yasuo, but you never know; Akali and Fizz he does, prob Kassadin too, Teemo? Gets bodied by Quinn top though, her E's too silly and I think it even interrupts his W even if he casts first as long as she casts before the stun, since her E interrupts your actions on her cast rather than on impact), especially mid, but that's not enough to justify running him there when you could be in the jungle if you wanna roam.
Also, that's not how ArPen works. If anything, that ArPen's readily available would make old-Warrior even better since it'd put you that much closer to dealing true damage to squishies.
Re: Jhin He gets a % AD multiplier (think Zed's W passive) when he buys AS, on a low-ish rate, and his total AS is fixed and never changes. So till some point, you're better off buying more AD than buying AS to increase your dps (plus it also works with your abilities and stuff), with the AS you buy only giving some AD and more MS when you crit (if you find this sentence strange, praise Riot's designers).

it is, deaths dance is only good on champs that sustain a lot and have difficulty doing damage/get kited (pretty much a perfect item on trundle for example)
pretty good on champs like graves too but hes just broken

I got one game against Jhin last night. He seemed ok, not too crazy from damage or utility, but his range is just insane. That snare is pretty deadly for engages with his team, combo'd very well with Lux.

tbh he's been complete garbage between any of my games or games I've seen on stream. If you saw one that actually contributed to a win and didn't feed or get carried I'd be interested to see a post game log.

Graves is kinda overrated imo. Like yea he is good but he is just like nidalee. A soloq pubstomper that snowballs well. Can't compete with other powerpicks like corki/gp/tahm/malph/lulu/etc
For some reason it is taking people really fucking long to understand how he works. It is just so funny how slow the average soloq player is. Same as trundle. People still try to all in me lvl 3 or so just to get 1v2d...

Problem with DD is that the champs it is good on are rare (Urgot) or are low budget. Fiora might get it if bruiser wasn't far and away better than getting another pure damage item.

what do you build on trundle? My core is always frozen fist/visage/DD + swifts or mercs since I go fervor ( might be part of the reason I like DD a lot)
gives a balance of armor/hp/mr/damage reduction and sustain that honestly I cant see topped for the same gold value but maybe youll enlighten me
