They also have been in decent form recently with wins against C9 and Immortals. TSM on the other hand has lost to Dignitas and TL, their only recent win Echo Fox. Week 5 was almost 3 weeks ago. I get it, I hate CLG too, but to act like they aren't the clear favorite of the western teams given how they've all been performing, especially recently, is foolish. After the IEM Katowice results so far, I feel vindicated in my belief that CLG didn't look THAT much better than the other western teams :p Yes, CLG was the more consistent team- but that just means there's less variance in your level of play, it doesn't speak as to how strong your play will be on average. CLG's play was looking like the strongest out of the western teams' on average, but not by a huge margin- I feel CLG was placed a tier too high and TSM, OG and FNC were a tier too low. CLG being a tier above the rest would've made sense to me coming into the tournament, but 3 tiers above made absolutely no sense to me, even taking into account their win vs. Immortals shortly before.

CLG is the SK of this year. A mediocre team that is good at one strategy. Against bad teams the look really, against teams that can't stop them and mediocre against teams that can't. When you're in a region where only a couple can but have consistency issues, the become one of the better teams.

+ Show Spoiler + For those who don't understand French, here is my attempt at a translation since I've found those available on the Reddit thread are not as accurate or just plain memes: Q: One last question, Yellowstar, there has been a lot of rumors, we would like to know: do you intend to retire, at the end of this year perhaps? A: So… I don't know if I'll continue [playing] in NA, I don't know if I'll go back to Europe, I'm still thinking about it because… It's only been 3 months since I've been in NA. I enjoy [NA] pretty well but I miss Europe because it's my home country. I still have a few months to think about it anyway but I'll give it my all to succeed in NA because when I have an objective in mind, I must complete it.

Riot Games will not act against Behdad Jaafarian, the Team Huma owner accused of mismanaging his organization and regularly missing payments to players and staff. It appears, however, that the embattled team owner won't remain in charge for long. Jaafarian has told players that he will write a letter divulging his ownership of the Challenger Series spot following this split. In February, Riot opened an investigation into Team Huma and Jaafarian’s business dealings. That investigation, however, has now been dropped, apparently due to of a lack of evidence, according to sources close to the organization. http://www.dailydot.com/esports/riot-games-behdad-jaafarian-investigation/

Jaafarian has told players that he will write a letter divulging his ownership of the Challenger Series spot following this split. I dont get this one. Doesnt "divulge" only mean "to announce"? How does that mean he will not be the owner anymore? In any case this is disappointing and I will just hope that Huma loses their LCS qualification matches.

They use "divulge" a second time like this: "Either way, Jaafarian has taken that step himself—assuming he makes good on his promise to divulge ownership of the team. Apparently it is supposed to mean "renounce". Which would still be weird, obviously he would just sell the spot.
