Nukeduck leaves ROCCAT, Steve and MrRallez to EUCS

ROCCAT has announced that their mid laner

Erlend "nukeduck" Våtevik Holm will be departing from the roster. Also their top laner

Etienne "Steve" Michels and AD Carry

Rasmus "MrRalleZ" Skinneholm will be loaned out to an EUCS team for the spring split

Today we are officially announcing the first roster changes to our EU LCS League of Legends team. Norwegian midlaner Erlend "nukeduck" Våtevik Holm departs the team to represent another organization in the upcoming LCS season, with the formalities and paperwork already having been settled.

We wish nukeduck all the best in his career. It was a pleasure having him as part of the team – he always handled himself professionally and worked towards the team’s goals.

We are also loaning out our ADC MrRalleZ and Top Laner Steve to a challenger team for the 2016 Spring Split. We wish them all the best with their new teams.

I just feel bad for MrRallez, that he's going to play in the Challenger scene, while Jesse, Steeelback, Jebus and Kobbe will be in LCS.

And I'm kinda curious what happened with the nukeduck's contract, was he bought out or there was something like "if we can't put up a competitive roster for 2016, you can freely leave" paragraph.

The wording of the statement made me think they sold him, or it was at least a mutual agreement with the other team.

I was never a huge Rallez fan, but are they really going to be able to upgrade there? Freeze to NA, Forgiven to H2K. Neils and Rekkles aren't going anywhere. Tabbz is a sidegrade at best. Hjarnan would be ok I guess but him aside they'd need to go foreign to find someone better. Unless there's some challenger star I'm not aware of.

Tabzz is an upgrade over almost anyone, if he really enjoys the game. Right now it seems like that he does.

But then again, ROCCAT is going with Jebus/Edward, it's more like who is going to fill other roles. If Froggen doesn't go to NA, of course, he sounds like an obvious choice, but then what, Wickd and dexter? Shook is likely to go to Vitality (new Gambit) according to rumours, so we'll see how it goes.
