CLG Black is recruiting for every role but jungle. Idk why CLG is using applications; surely they should recruit by seeing how fast they can win a game of dominion :>

Both Zion and Hauntzer's contracts expires on next week, and Regi says they'll reveal the top laner on next week.

Moe moe flash wolves state that Kkramer is still on the team; he is only playing for that team for the tournament. Seems that Karsa's contract is until 2016 so the Flash Wolves' core trio should be good for next year

There's something about that contrast that fascinates me; I'm really curious as to how that actually feels.

On the other hand, now is the time to get into the business even as a mediocre player. Lets say you get on a mediocre EU LCS team - SK paid 600 euros a month on top of the Riot-mandated salary. Lets just say you make it in for just one split - 12.5k from Riot. Lets assume your sponsor/team kicks you out after 6 months - 3.6k. So just if you just made it into the LCS for one split, and did nothing else at all, you just made 16k. If you are somewhat good looking and have somewhat decent social skills, you can propel that into a b-tier streaming career - I'd assume about 1-5k viewers average. That segways into donations and other avenues of content monetization (elo boosting, youtube, coaching (soloqueue), coaching (teams) etc etc). Now if you just manage to scrape by and maybe develop a decent shotcalling ability (something valued extremely highly), you too might find yourself on the other end of a six figure deal! I'm honestly surprised there arent more kids trying hard. I'm honestly surprised so many pros try to get out of the scene in their early 20s. The earning potential is there up to the late 20s, with the potential to lay a foundation for a livelong independent "career", be it in esports or other independent "business".

Keane was decently popular and averages about 400-500, which, from what I know of Twitch, is not even livable.

Whether esports is profitable or not hinges on the number of viewers (as advertisers flock to wherever the eyeballs are). So the core question becomes, how do you expect the leisure time of people to be spent in the future? Reading, watching shows/movies, playing games, following competitive sports, etc; how will that all be split up? And within the sphere of following competition, how would that be split up? This question gets more fascinating when you account for past changes. For example, it is frequently said that back around post-WWII, the big three mainstream sports to follow in the US were baseball, boxing, and horse racing. Fast forward to now; boxing and horse racing are way off the mainstream radar here. Lot of societal-related changes happened along the way. Horse racing's main allure is the gambling aspect; it ran into problems as other legal gambling options started showing up over the years. Boxing's player pool and the fascination that the public at large held it with declined due to the evolution of race relations in this country (particularly, the breaking of the colour barrier in more and more careers like other sports). And that's the real fun part of this sort of topic. When you try to predict what the masses will participate and/or watch in the future, at the same time, you're also actually attempting to predict shifts in society. What kind of things are changing now? We're seeing traditional television heading downward while people turn more and more towards the internet and streaming services. We're seeing gaming entering more and more into the popular conscious with the current generation than before (while still not truly mainstream yet, there's still a huge difference between pre-2001 and post-2001). And there are far more ramifications that the proliferation of internet usage has had on this world that I am nowhere near ready to grasp. It's the sort of question that can become very interesting if you go deep enough into it.

Renegades think sending Crumbz and RF (and rest of the team) to Korea will help with anything. Or searching for a korean ADC to join a team with Crumbz and RF.
