GBM to NA? Damn, that's a good news. Wondering in which team he will end up ^_^ The more Koreans in NA, the better, so we might actually see good games next split :D

tbh I wish there wasn't any region locking so NA LCS could just be super sick, but I know I'm not in the majority on that one.

like region locking has good intentions and it could be cool if it meant "challenger player X" wanted to go pro would get a chance, but the reality is guys like CST Chris.

More rumours surrounding RNG Freeze here https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/3rqtmw/renegades_adc/

I thought CLG would snap him out since they lost Dlift but then the Turtle stuff happened(L O L)

Tfw you were working on an LOFS hype article and he's banned with empt2, chunx and candy. At least stitch is a good boy and doesn't join teams while on contract

Unreal scenes where we're down to AHQ and FW anyway because Garena is banning the rest of the region :/

Wouldn't be surprised, Monte is pretty high on Freeze.

He's a solid player and known quantity. Thought he'd go to some bigger team though.

I think hes the type that just goes where he gets the highest offer. And Immortals/Sacramento Kings import spots are probably already full.

RNG going to Korea make no sense. When teams realize that going for 'random' 1 month bootcamp doesn't make you automatically better? Just look at sc2 and even this Worlds.

I mean if you look at 2014 Worlds I think that NA teams showed improvement.

Also much what you learn right now will be rather useless next season as it will be a completely new meta with the upcoming changes.

I mean it sort of makes sense because Monte's probably avalaible to actually coach them right now and maybe they treat it a bit like vacation and not purely bootcamp. But a thought of sending Alberto fucking Crumbz to Korea in hope he improves is pretty funny.
Americans don't like to use unblockables, it is considered not honest. You press a button at the wrong time and hit the other person, you are random, not a top player. You DP Sim's far fierce, it is random and not honest.

I personally like the idea of Monte setting up a scrim between RF Legendary and Smebpanda

But tbf; NA teams are mostly in flames and still rebuilding for season 6. RNG is more or less the only org that has it all together in NA so it does make sense to bootcamp abroad if they want to get a head start on practice

Well Smeb used to be a joke and now he's legit so maybe he will teach RF the ways.

I think it's a good idea based on the fact that there must be next to 0 team in NA right now to scrim against as they are all going through pretty huge changes. So even if maybe these teams test potential prospects in scrims, the quality will be very low considering no team has cohesion.

RNG has a lot of work to do to catch up with the big teams in term of practice and habits. Korea is playing KESPA cup right now and is likely to scrim a lot more. Plus, the korean soloqueue is known to be a better practice environment. Having an additional analyst/coach/presence in Monte might be beneficial as well.

Looking all the news about NA scene, this season going to be truly terrible for TL. They have one of the weakest roster on paper

If RNG gets Freeze, they are going to be better than TL as well.

A bit. SK was without Sven for 3 games (also look at their fucking roster), Alliance got Kabumed and Najin was Najin.

Didn't Monte say that he will not be involved in coaching since he is owner?
