It'll be interesting to see what TPA does about this though; they have the resources to rebound from this loss but they just spent an entire split trying to make a team work around Chawy and now he's gone.

He did but I assume it was because a) wants to focus on casting/owning b) doesnt want to remote coach again. Right not he has no League to cast though so I'm assuming it's different.

But a thought of sending Alberto fucking Crumbz to Korea in hope he improves is pretty funny. I hope Monte doesn't coach anything, RNG's coach is 100 times better than Monte at coaching. He should just stay as their manager or whatever he does. People probably don't know this yet, but Hermes is brilliant, super smart coach. At any rate, I think the trip to Korea will be a great team bonding experience if nothing else. Help get people into the right mindset and what not.

No, I will not. The team already has an in-house coach, David "Hermes" Tu, whom I trust and the players respect. Between my three shows, casting four days per week, and managing Renegades I don't really have a lot of time to competently direct strategy. I do watch some scrims and matches that the LoL team plays in, but the most I plan to do is give feedback directly to Hermes and he can choose if or how to deliver it to the players. As I see it, the team is his project and my meddling directly with the players would undermine his plans and authority. He's the coach and he's the one who needs to have the power to actually enact his plans, otherwise there is no reliable way to evaluate his effectiveness or identify where problems lie. That said, I do plan to monitor the team's performance and receive reports from the coaching staff so that I have a good idea of what techniques are being used and if there are areas for improvement.

But then again, with Lofs/Empt2 being banned, we're down to 2 good teams again unless HKES/TPA pull the trigger and use the money they have. At least stitch is a good boy and doesn't join teams while on contract Unreal scenes where we're down to AHQ and FW anyway because Garena is banning the rest of the region :/ Mountain cries a river somewhere.

German interview with Amazing. He thinks there will be no roster changes for Origen, just coaching staff to be expanded. He and his team mates declined several offers already. Then he goes on to discuss authoritarian coaching in a critical manner. Btw sport1 is the main German sports channel and suddenly has a ton of esports articles on their page. Most of it is rather superficial though.

But besides that; the bans have been coming in hot and heavy from Garena this year

Boosting as an income source is popular for a reason. Keane was decently popular and averages about 400-500, which, from what I know of Twitch, is not even livable. What do Koreans do after the four years?

Keane's case is weird though because he doesn't use his mic or facecam at all, so other than watching a high elo player play the game there's nothing unique about his stream. I like leaving his stream on on a second monitor/before I sleep cause he's got one of the dopest/chillest playlists of any streamer, but I think that for a pro player who streams as much/regularly as he does with the profile that he had on Gravity they'd be doing much better. Not that you're really wrong about the potential for an esports career to crash and burn. Though I think if you market yourself right/have the right personality you could become a coach or whatever, even if the esports bubble "pops" I think we're at the point that any fledgling esport will generate a decent amount of money, could see NA esports pros emulate Korea in that BW pros become coaches for LoL, LoL players could become coaches for whatever the next craze is. Especially since at this point the coaching/analysis of this side is so thin you can make a real name for yourself as an analyst just by promoting yourself the right way, such as Montecristo and more recently yamatocannon did.
