Having choice of 1st/2nd pick and choice of blue/purple side be separate would naturally make the game fairer in competitive. I agree; that's a good partial solution that is easier to implement. Oh wait, this has never happened over how many years now? Silly me How does something not happening have anything to do with it? At least you're admitting that you're being silly here, that's a good sign. Except no one has yet to provide even one example of crit RNG ruining the game when there are tons of examples of RNG ruining the game in other ways. In fact, it is not even clear if we can eliminate all RNG from the game, some of which are clearly more severe than crit. Silly me indeed. We have, and this is the same argument again. Let's not remove this bad thing because there are worse things. That is not a good argument so stop bringing it up again and again. It is a very good argument. It's one of priorities. There are many things wrong with this game. Complaining about crit RNG is red herring. I am not going to reply to you again, but you should let that sink in a bit. Don't condescend me brohan.
Maybe you should stop posting for today and look back at your posts at some other time. Maybe then you will realize that you're so retarded that you even have Goumindong arguing against you.

So how about that HUD change that let's us put our teammates back on the left? That's the first thing I'm doing when I get into a game.

I think once everyone's in game, all players should be rearranged into top/jungle/mid/adc/supp so I don't need to rearrange myself.
It doesn't have to be perfect; just rearrange enough to cover 60%-80% of the cases.

I'm annoyed it took them this long. The HUD is now how I wanted it to be, basically the old one with shiny paint.

And maybe in a few more month we will get to resize individual parts of the hud instead of everything. Can't wait. Need that bigger minimap/teammate icons and might as well leave only the cds in the mid :D.

The thing about CLG, IMO, is that they are playing confidently with the mindset to win. The players on CLG are obviously above-average, but CLG had always been with above-average players in the past but never found success until this split. I think a lot of this has to do with their new coach, Chris.
I know I might be sucking his D a little and I might be a little biased, but IMO it's really great that we got someone with actual coaching experience to coach an esports team. The discipline and professionalism is really good for the western scene. I also think he pretty much saved doublelift's career.
In the past, we always blamed the west's lack of success in esports (LoL in particular) to the lack of infrastructure. "Infrastructure" is pretty vague though; at the end of the day, I think it's about finding the right people. The US is pretty big on sports and I think there are actually tons of very talented people who can work in esports and improve the level of competition in the west - given enough incentives.

My reddit bot got banned by a certain subreddit (NOT /r/riotfreelol, for the record). Here's the message I got (emphasis is mine):

Anyways it is reddit so who cares. Unless it is a private sub I don't really see the point of logging in when the goal is to just leech information and receive memes

Hahaha.
Oh Reddit league community. Sure is something special.
Also I love how nobody here thought Riot would make the options changes. And they did within, what, two and a half months?
Oh no, a minor inconvenience for two months! The horror!

Oh god. It'll at least settle which of you two actually understands how to use markov chains. Sounds like Sufficiency's argument boils down to a basic question asked often in sports philosophy (an admittedly small field): "Knowing that not all random factors can be excluded from determining the outcome of a contest, should we attempt to remove [some]/[the ones we can]/[as many as possible]?" I (and many others it seems) would say yes, but to be fair to Sufficiency's argument, Riot historically really hasn't been doing this given things like tournaments formats, bugs, poor visa planning, and the like. Are you really saying that suffiency's argument, that crit is fine because riot is bad at getting visas, is in any way logical or valid...
I think the argument I presented is logical and valid, as it's just a de facto response to the question I stated.
I think the argument you presented is flawed, so I agree with you on that.
Our interpretations of the source material are different.

I actually don't think this is wholly unreasonable, it's basically the reddit equivalent of a boycott, yeah? Boycotts can be reasonable. I don't actually use or understand reddit at all so I'm not sure if I'm interpreting this right.

To be fair, they received a lot of pressure from very vocal and public complaints, and this is likely part of why this happened or at least a factor in how quickly it was worked on.

Yeah I am still collecting data so... I can do it for the entire week once we are past that point.
While I do have the luxury of being able to watch it at work and not get judged, weekend is going to be a LOT bigger for sure

My mind is telling me no, but my body is telling me to Tweet that picture to Richard Lewis. Gotta get those internet points.

That has been happening for a while Sufficiency. I remember a while back it blew up huge on r/BlackPeopleTwitter, KotakuInAction and TumblrInAction when a few regular posters there received the exact same message like you. I don't remember which community sends these out and I'm to lazy to dig up the old threads.
But about a week or two ago it was huge on reddit. Interesting to see they still keep doing it.
Edit: Was it TwoX or TrollX?
Edit 2: It was r/OffMyChest, found the old threads. But that name seems to be longer, so there are more and more subreddits doing it???

I can tell you it is not any of the subreddits you've listed. Also only my bot got banned, not my actual account. Which is pretty funny. I guess it's done via a script.
You are probably right that this has been going on for a while now. But my initial thought was that a mod in this small subreddit which banned me wanted to whore some attention. This is why I intentionally masked the name of the subreddit on that screenshot.
