The tradeoff is that the extra ap gives a bit more dmg on ganks, but u cant do a full clear without getting dangerously low. I always do krugs->raptors->red->gank, or blue->buy after red if there's nowhere to gank. If you do it perfectly you should end up close to full health with 1 pot remaining after red, but most of the time I'm too lazy for that so I have to use 2nd pot.

Don't know how good it is, but it works like AP eve always worked run in for that sick ult burst and holoholoholo away with free tankieness from the shield. It's just that Eve works with Rungelaive even better than Lichbane and it's stupid easy to set up flanks with homeguard TP.

Do you play eve in the jungle tank with cinderhulk? or with runeglaive? Also how do you build her? I switch between Tank and Bruiser but I don't really know.

his ult is annoying so you have to either ult before and aim to ignite toward the end of his ult so he cant outheal the damage or ult after his ult runs out
you can go sunfire instead if you are winning already but otherwise yeah thornmail too much damage

Ok, I just don't get why people keep running Eve in competitive. I get why she is run (early game "global" pressure cause until you see her show up on a ward or in a lane ganking someone, she could be anywhere) but I think there are better junglers that could be used if you just want her as a flanking champion that can apply a slow or CC of some kind (considering the pick order is Gragas > Rek'Sai > Eve right now in most competitive games). When she showed up in MSI it made sense, but now it's sort of expected for people to pick her and most teams have adapted their play to stop Eve from getting off the ground so early. I know Sejuani got nerfed (finally) but the ult is still pretty damn good if you hit it, not to mention you can still get a slow off your W + E.
And there are other champions that benefit from Cinderhulk even if you don't think you should build it on them (mainly Vi). Zac's not too bad against the right team, J4 is sort of a fringe pick, not to mention Ekko and Nocturne seeing random games in competitive with them going tanky.
And yes, I did see last night's CJ Entus vs. KOO Tigers games on LCK, I know what a fed Eve can do.

She's safe (in the sense that every jungler worth a shit at the moment played her back in s4) and she's traditional. Same reason people that aren't Rush/TBQ keep picking Lee. Or how Vayne mysteriously shows up 3 or 4 times a week in nonsense comps by people like Piglet.

In certain situations Vayne is actually a good pick (your team can peel for you, enemy team is a lot of HP-stacking fools) but I agree that some picks are done simply due to comfort.
I wish teams would be a bit more risky with their picks is all; I mean, in LCK we've got teams experimenting with carry champions in the top lane and doing pretty well with it, we saw support Naut show up because teams in the 4 major regions saw how strong he was after his buffs but didn't want to stop with the Warrior junglers that were rampant at the time (that, and his clear speed is still shit). LCK brought Viktor into the meta to help fight the terror that is competitive Azir, and mid Varus still exists.
Yet for the ADC position if you can't get Sivir you're stuck with basically Corki or Jinx, one that has a time limit on their effectiveness and the other needs to scale.
I mean we're FINALLY seeing some experimentation in the ADC role with Trist showing up, but it's not enough in my opinion. If we can somehow get 1-2 more ADCs to become viable again and seeing a return of some of the Warrior junglers (Lee, Vi, J4) we could be going into S5 Worlds with arguably the largest "viable" champion pool seen in League.
