According to Clearlove, Nunu's biggest advantage is the ability to quickly change up jungle paths and efficiently counter-jungle whenever the enemy jungler is spotted. At level 5, you can ctrl+6 for a special emote. Riot needs to make it visible to both teams though (atm, the mastery emote can only be seen by your allies).
