like it's been said many times before, you can mute everyone on your team and for some people it even helps them win games, but here the only objective is to talk to one another so idk what your game plan is.

If I don't talk then many people here will still think thresh is GG for solo queue when in fact he is one of the worst supports. Granted I sound like a dick when trying to prove my point, but sounding like a dick and berating people for being bad isn't my intention. What's really sad is that if I wasn't masters, I'm sure all my claims would be dismissed as bronze stupidity instead of just half of my claims. And as for blitz being only good plat-, check the winrates. He can fuck over the enemy jungler really hard with the hook, and while people say "at high elo people dodge blitz hook," tons of people still get hooked. That doesn't even account for the times he just runs up to you, knocks you up, and then hooks you after you use your escape. On a side note, his r passive damage is extremely deceptive in fights

I have to think that it's only a matter of time before that gets patched out ![]() Not at all, start Q and spawn a voidling at 1:48 and you can kill blue no problem. With no leash you'll need to use a health pot but with even a minor leash from your laners the voidling timing works out that you'll finish blue with no pots quite easily.

Thresh also gets tankier without items, and although his hooks aren't as much of a death sentence (no pun intended), if you have follow-up, like for example the popular Ahri, you can still wreck people with it, and you don't get punished for hooking a Gnar or Lissandra into your team.

If you let Blitz just ran up to you without damaging him then you are just bad.

I'd think (just an opinion of a bronze) that silencing a Kat mid-ult is better than the lightning bolt, but then again I also thought warding was good so I'm sure I'm not on the right path. I was referring more to level 6 all-in fights where it's not mandatory to get off the silence but rather using the ult for the killing burst. Sure, in teamfights you might not get the luxury of holding onto r, but in lane fights the passive damage can mean the difference between going 2-0 and 0-2. Blitz is also naturally tanker than thresh by a large margin (base stats and passive), which gives him even more buffer in fights. Also even though I don't buy wards, that's a bit different than placing 0 wards. My play style revolves around using map awareness and all-inning bot lane with a gold advantage (wards vs no wards) when you know the jungler isn't bot (doable with the trinket and general map awareness). If you saw what I posted earlier, I can't tell you my current ign due to my history of elo boosting because there's going to be some asshat that sends a ticket to riot support and get my account flagged. The best thing I can offer you is my old ign (G0atsebusters) that was high diamond 1 back when masters wasn't a thing and mid-high diamond 1 is the equivalent of today's master (you'd see me in those high elo streams here and there). You can ask people who knew me, I bought maybe like 2 wards when trinkets weren't a thing. Old habits die hard. It's a shame I can't tell you my current ign, but I'd like not to stake my accounts. You're welcome to believe that I'm making this up, but rest assured if you dig around my post history (from maybe 2 years ago) you'll see that I'm who I claim to be.

If you're trying to compare blitz to Thresh's strong spot, no shit blitz is gunna look bad. Also the higher the mmr, the more important it is to threaten and posture with hook potential, than it is to actually hook.

Yeah I'm not referring to a no ward style, moreso I did the opposite of what you did and pre 3 max wards I would mostly never get anything more than a gp10 and upgraded boots, all the rest of my items were invested in wards and oracles and I would just blanket whatever side of the map we wanted to take. I noticed it being extremely effective for setting up fights, moreso than any singular item that I could buy for my team to have near 100% vision of their team whenever we're opening ourselves up to a potential fight, as it makes collapsing on them considerably easier if we know how far away they are from each other. If you were anti-ward I'd call myself pro-ward. I think there exists room to have both playstyles without one being a way to get challenger and the other way being bronze level. You can play with minimal warding up to challenger and you can ward frequently and be challenger. I doubt they're mutually exclusive.

There are few abilities that are absolutely game altering, even fewer that are non-ults. Blitz is one of them, and that's why he's good, trying to compare an all-round pick vs a specialist is fucking silly as hell.
