Strange that they would be looking for a replacement for an acceptable player like Trace. I'd have hoped they'd work on getting a mid laner with less shallow champion pool.

I kind of want to believe in GBM, but Jin Air would definitely be much improved with a new mid.

It'll be interesting to see if they play him or not as I still think TrAce can perform as well as he did in Champions Summer. But yeah, Jin Air really need a new mid if they want to place well this split.

As cool as TrAce is, I think he's just kind of getting to that point where he's losing effectiveness. Sky should bring a little refreshing to the team. They won't win anything with GBM in the mid lane, but it should be a nice pick up. The entire roster has kind of hit their skill ceiling so getting new, fresh players in will be a good thing.

Its really toss up on this one . On one hand you have trace , veteran who proved himself as solid toplaner and reliable but is old and is prolly near the end of his career. Meanwhile Sky is up and coming raw player who people hype up and can improve for sure . Id pick Sky beacuse I think he has much room for growth and improvement over Trace

Trace didn't play well in pre season, so getting alternative is great for them. Also Trace is pretty old.

I actually thought Trace's play was actually pretty decent, but presumably Sky can do better. Trace is also pretty old for esports standards

I hope they actually implement a rotating roster, since Trace made a big impression with some off-meta picks when he first debuted. His play was kind of fun to watch but has stagnated a bit. Hopefully this lets him focus on some niche picks.

Interesting, this looks like a promising pick up. Hopefully they could pick up Raphael, though GBM looked like he improved some in the last playoff games. I could be wrong though.

Sky looked pretty solid, so he's a good enough pick up for the secondary top laner. However, I firmly believe that they need a new mid laner to take GBM's place and put him on the bench. GBM seems to be a pretty smart player, but mechanically he's not one of the best.
As a side note, do they still have Winged as their secondary jungler??

I believe Winged is out, but the rosters are in such transition and teams are still trialing players.

Every season I start getting hyped about Jin Air and end up utterly disappointed. Not sure if I can keep making the same mistake over and over again...

I still believe in TrAce but if Sky works out I wont complain. Was very unimpressed by GBM this entire pre-season and hope either he picks it up or they find someone else.

Looks like Trace played all three games last night, so no Sky yet. Saw some clips and Trace still looked solid, also Morgana top hype.
