I really need to emphasize how huge it is that ranged champs can clear the jungle and take no damage doing it. A few people have noted things like Lucian and Ez taking no damage (Malz and Karthus too but it's harder). This is a huge early game advantage, because there's absolutely none of this "How many camps can I do?" bs. I previously didn't realize you could smite something early for the bonus immediately. This is obviously a good thing to be able to do. Sometimes less useful than it may seem though, as range abuse can often cause things to reset when they're lower on health (time based afaik, not hp based) and having a powerful execute-like thing (Kalista or Twitch E, Gnar W) + smite lets you avoid this situation 100%. Smiting Red or Blue first obviously does nothing, and Frog is ranged anyway and won't reset (instant smite 100%). Unsure if I want to be smiting Rocks initially or not, the buff can help kite I guess but you shouldn't be taking damage anyway, maybe it helps with smite CD for some routes? Generally I've been using smite to execute on early clears and as an opening later on when clearing becomes trivial. Doing the invincible spot thing for Birds is easier than I previously thought. Easily takeable since only the big bird hits you, although it still does more damage than the Colours or Rocks. This opens up route possibilities a lot and I need to do more testing. Also want to work Crab hunting into my routes, since it's stupidly easy with range (chase it in the direction you want to go and it takes basically no extra time) and does still give exp. Hunting other junglers is so incredibly stupidly strong right now. [Rocks -> Red -> Birds (-> Crab)] and hunt them down on their blue side has worked on Twitch in 100% of my 2 tries, although if they start Frog instead of Rocks it probs won't (although they probably didn't smite Wolves). You have ~100% hp, a pot and an escape (Q) if they collapse VS their low HP and nothing else. Lv2/3 ganks are still good too. I like exploding smite because it lets Twitch W(+E) clear the little birds and wolves afterward easily, but I'll play with the jungler-killing ones. Devourer 100%, feels good with [Bilgewater -> BotRK & IE] so far. Maybe [Warrior -> Shiv / PD] could work? Devourer is really dumb though. I really do suspect that Twitch is a super strong oppressive jungler atm, huge ganks and jungler kill potential. Gnar less dead than previously thought but still pretty dead. Kalista perma-ban or first pick ADC, so basically dead as a jungler. EDIT: Will get timers when I feel as though I've hammered it out a bit more. I'm only Silver so mechanics for these things are something that actually takes time / effort to learn

the stun buff makes it SO much easier to keep red and blue from resetting while you kite them.

Why would you kite them? I stand perfectly still and take no melee damage. Colours and Rocks are super easy to take - Rock buff helps mostly with Frog / Wolves / Birds imo. Also crab a bit. So walking from Red -> Blue just to make use of the Rock buff seems unnecessarily slow, imo. Am I doing something weird or missing something?

Am I doing something weird or missing something? by kite i mean leash so that you don't take any damage, although i do kite some after 5-6 mini resets when i'm afraid the buff will hard reset. not sure you can just stand there out of range at level 3 and have enough damage to kill blue before it does a hard reset, i also take it third because i like having mana to do stuff. btw thanks to seuss' suggestion i had like a 9min devourer+boots1 route for shyvana worked out that i was trying to test when the servers went down.

I didn't do this, sorry, I always assumed that this knowledge was well-known (I learned it from mobafire twitch jungle guides way long ago). I'll post one, give me a bit to take some screen caps and such. That's pretty reasonable then. It won't hard reset if you have smite up because your execute damage is high enough, and if you want Blue fast then this makes a lot of sense. It's not what I do but I get it. What junglers do you do this on?

i'm pretty sure the leashing locations have changed slightly with the patch which is probably why he asked.

It sends a message that hey, the brands of teams in LCS aren't as valuable as a cut of a sponsorships. a message that riot now knows they have essentially all the power in competitive league of legends. I would like Alex to provide the sponsorships for all of NA LCS teams and see how riot likes that as it would give him a greater degree of control than he had prior.

Like, China already proved the total unenforceability of one-team-per-organization 2 seasons ago. It's only a matter of time before team owners in every other region actually figure out that if they really want to own 2 teams, Riot doesn't actually have the resources to prevent it from happening because they cannot POSSIBLY invest the resources into enforcing this without it being enormously unprofitable and a waste of time.
