the formatting is really ugly because of different length names, but here is a tab separated text file with the top 1200 players on the NA server sorted by winrate: Link Wow this looks amazing. How long did it take for you to mine all of those? lolking actually sends the data to your web browser in a nice neat json file, the hard part was figuring out what i was looking for and what section of chrome's debugger to find the url in. after that it was breeze.
How long do you think it'll take to mine the entire 1.5 million ranked players on NA? Or a sample of the 1.5 mil?
It'll be super neat to see how accurately LKS reflects league rank.

Oh right it moved me from 397 to 417, forgot about the caps. Might explain it then.

exactly, you can just run a for loop incrementing x and get as much as you want.
i did a benchmark and it looks like it would take about 5 hours and 13 minutes to grab the data for 1.5 million summoners. i think you'd probably get cut off for suspected ddosing or something before you finished if you tried to do it all in one batch though.

Need to space it out to maybe 1 request per second or something.
Assuming there are 1.5 mil players, and 1 second per request - that will take 40 hours in total. If you want we can try to do it together and do 2 seconds per request and hopefully not get IP banned?

Couldn't you just e-mail them for a db dump?

I wonder if they will just give it to me, lol.

i'm not really interested in the mass data for the general population, i just wanted to scrape the summoner names/ids of the highest ranked players so i could look more in depth at their stats with the riot api. gonna be spending most of my extra time getting comfortable with that after i finish some school assignments that are due tomorrow.
i don't mind helping out with something specific, but i don't want to spend hours collecting data either.

Only the end of game screen that showed he was afk.
+ Show Spoiler +
What happened in the game was that top was feeding and his support was playing bad/connectivity issues so he wanted to surrender really early, when the team wouldn't vote yes on the 2nd vote he left.
