Yeah, I dunno, as long as I remember TL was always the place where you could just be a nerd and be accepted. It's weird that I can go to work at a professional firm with a group of 60 year old businesmen and be accepted for having an interest in playing and watching competitive LoL and no one bats an eye, but the place where I felt safest in my love for games growing up kind of shuns it for no apparent reason. Weird how the world has changed since I was like 13. Surreal almost. | ||

Also about the skins... Shyvana is pretty fine but Reaper Soraka and Ultimate Skin for Sona? OH COME ON, no1 plays Sona anyways, even after the rework. | ||

On October 09 2014 15:25 GolemMadness wrote: Yeah, throwing together some random team isn't going to beat CA/Complexity/Coast. yep, those teams + LoLPro are all strong enough to get in as it stands, and i've heard there are multiple other teams full of challenger players getting gaming houses to bootcamp for the tournament. lots of teams are going all-in for this, as it will likely be the last expansion (at least for some time... 2+ years?). i don't want to imply that i think a gaming house = instant success, but it does at least show a certain level of dedication that 5 thrown-together players probably wouldn't muster in such a short time (also, i don't want to discourage anyone who's considering going into the tournament either. definitely do it! just don't take it lightly) | ||
