To be honest it's a terrible mechanic. Personally I believe that crits shouldn't be random at all and instead there should just be a few items that give bonuses like "every 4 hits, deal double damage". http://i.imgur.com/xXi59AK.gif also this gif makes no sense, the bin should be right next to the fridge, it shouldn't be able to fall like that. | ||

I agree that it should be just extra damage after X attacks, but critical hit is such a common mechanics that a lot of games like to use them. | ||

The best mechanic is to just multiply auto attack damage. Giving everyone Caits priming mechanic isn't a good idea for laning ( especially if you get a cait who can synchronize them) even if it's skill based. | ||

The second best way is to turn crit into what it actually is, a % damage amplifier. Without infinity edge, each % crit is basically a % increase in damage (and 1.5% increase in damage with IE) | ||
