she's kinda tanky in the midgame once you have 70 stacks but it takes like 14 fangs to kill someone. you get a stack from that + autos as long as you Q or W it first it's just still really slow

Q max is also completely useless now, which is annoying for me because that was my preferred play style pre rework

I watched wingsofdeath play Cass top vs Nasus. Cass has terrible mana issues especially in the early game now since she cant spam the Q.
He built Tear and RoA for the mana, so his damage was shit. It takes so many E's to kill stuff lol.
Also he mentioned that you tend to push the wave for your stacks and stuff. Yeah you die as Cass then in the top lane as jungler comes to collect free kill.

Does Cass get stacks if she's around a champion that Twitch/Singed poison now? Or did they make their poison stop counting?

So I finished my 10 calibration games for ranked, and played a couple afterwards. So from what I understand I need to get my LP to 100? Then I get a 3 game promo series for the next rank?

It's a Bo3 to raise in division, a Bo5 to raise in tier.

Correct. You have to win 2 out of the 3 promo matches to be promoted. If you're going to the next tier, (e.g. Silver I to Gold 5), then you have to play 5 games. You have to win 3 of 5 to be promoted.

Correct. When you go to improve rank (from Silver to Gold, etc.) it's a 5 game series, you just have to win 3 out of the 5. Otherwise it's best 2 out of 3, and if you miss it you drop to ~70 LP and can get back to the promo pretty quickly.

Thanks guys!
I got put into Silver 3. But so far in my first two games after my placement the level seems quite a bit below me.
Hopefully I can get into high gold or low plat before September is up. I was hoping to calibrate into gold but got a couple of unfortunate losses (one rage quitter and one internet issue).

haven't tested but it wouldn't matter much as far as getting stacks, you only get 1 stack per fang on a hero and realistically the combo won't even get any stacks you wouldn't have gotten anyway until after the lane phase.

Well, if you gain stacks for "every second an enemy champion is poisoned" then it would be hilarious if Singed top means you get stacks in mid from him derping around in top lane.
Somebody should go test that is all I'm saying

just to clarify the wording if 2 champions walk into Miasma you get 1 stack per second until it wears off the last guy.
however yes if that works you might actually get max stacks before 40 min

1 thing about new Cass, I really miss her old base splash art face. I have Jade Fang, so that provides my splash art needs, but the base splash was pretty rad.

If your MMR has high enough you can skip multiple divisions in 1 promo series.

I got placed in silver 2. Played like 15 to 20 games to get into gold 1 (then I stopped playing). If your elo is higher than division, you'll start skipping divisions pretty frequently.

Sure. 'cept you already did that with the augment before (just needed level 7 to make sure the casters died, otherwise they died on the very last tick which made it risky for a minion to "steal" them).
Also now melee minions can be hit while aligned, but will the aftershock hit them reliably too? The point of instant waveclear is to kill all minions in one go.
