Is there anyway to improve your mechanics? Besides generally playing more that is.... I watch Doublelift highlight videos and I'm jelly, I doubt I would able to do half of what he does

Play a lot. Anticipate enemy cooldowns that are going to be used against you.

tell yourself to do things more actively
whether its last hitting or kiting or item actives, i subvocalize what i need to do as i'm doing it until i don't have to think about it anymore

Take risks more, this doesn't mean going in when you know you will die but it will give you a much better idea of your champions limits and eventually allow you to make better calls. If you are going in for a fight its worth asking yourself what would need to happen for you to lose that fight, for instance what summoner would be needed or how many enemies woul need to appear out of the fog of war. Plus if you are used to fighting fringe cases you will be far less likely to panic and it's super fun.

Sure he'll kill a turret faster than her if he lets the 50 HP dude run away, but apart from that I'd argue Jax chases better because you put more points in your dash early on (lower cd) and it works on wards and stuff. You're more of a brawler than an assassin though, can frontline against people. Irelia can withstand some damage if she positions for her ult to hit a bunch of enemy champs, but she can't go in like Jax can REQ to initiate by stunning multiple people and live through it.
he just feels weird i dunno i guess its because he doesn't burst people and also cant stick to targets so he's like a tanky version of ADC

Kongoline: Click on the arrow to the right of "friend list", then tick the "show offline friends" box. It sucks because it displays them in every category you created (hence you gotta scroll a whole lot) but if you just want to look at it puncutally I guess it's fine.
Jax sticks rather well once you get points in Q, though, and with BotRK's active. Irelia rides her ability to reduce cc so people don't go as far, and E has a lower cooldown and a pretty good duration. Also, since she's more midgame oriented, she tends to forgo defense more (hence the Zephyr and Zerkers builds, and MS quints which I don't see Jax use).
I agree that unless he snowballs hard Jax doesn't burst people since in the midgame he lacks items (he completes boots2 later too, usually), and in the lategame people have too much EHP to just die. You can easily to around a third of people's HP with a double-tap -> aa-W on them, and either E or Q to stick and keep hitting once you have phage or sheen.

Genja had smurf in s3 and he played Varus/Ashe only. In s4 according to Edward/Alex he doesn't play soloq .

they didn't, click on the down arrow next to the words "friend list" where you can set your status and stuff. its a check box below that
