You should realize by now a lot of what Riot says and what they do is completely different. Morello(Or was it another Rioter) constantly spoke about how bad design Vlad was with resourceless sustain then they go and release a whole host of resourceless sustain champs over the years(Zac/Rengar). You should not have to rework a champ a little over a year later. That's just terrible game design.
I don't know the reason for this. It could be the different departments in riot really don't interact or have power over each other. Could be all marketing talk just to brainwash the public. Could be one persons opinion being taken as department policy when it's not. Only thing I know is never actually believe what they say until you've seen what they do.

If we can fit Morgana into the Yi comp that'd be kinda silly. Lulu mid, Morgana support and fit in Soraka and Karma bot and top.

You should have morgana + kayle + yi. Yi ults, gets black shield, gets kayle ult. Cant be cc'd, cant break black shield cause of kayle ult, yi kills your whole team.

So long as Yi isn't invaded on and has time to farm up his flare and botrk/hydra/whatever its a pretty powerful combination.

I'm under the impression he gets the % damage reduction, but not the movespeed or attackspeed reductions.

hahahaha, ap yi was way worse than flare yi.
you had to kill him between the wave or he would meditate which at rank 1 would heal him from 1 hp to full, then if he hit you with an alpha strike gg theres half your hp.
i'd rather deal with flare yi than old ap yi any day

Both are pretty much the same.You just need the right team/items to stop them or they will penta your team a few times until you alt/f4.
