I'm not calling Monte over rated, I like Monte, I just wish there were other analysts as popular so he didn't get free reign to say whatever he wants.

Monte doesn't have to apologise for being the best, he earned it, that's on Riot (since no other tournaments can exist) to stop leashing the shit out of there analysts and making them say both teams played great after every game

Sometimes Monte's interaction with the community outside of casting can be an issue. I think that overall he has a pretty good grasp on the game and at the very least things he say should be considered. However, I think his increased visibility causes his overall message has become stale and we end up with twitch memes about rotations.

Even a good record gets annoying when you hear it too often.

Hoorah for the khazix changes. No more getting annihilated under turret by isolation damage, and that heavily nerfs his isolation overall. Slight change, but that should help a ton.

J4 buffs are nice, kass nerfs deserved, Lissandra buffs :D

Malph buffs are pretty neat as well.

I think they're going a bit far on the feral flare changes. Damage to monsters wasn't too much the issue, it's how people played with and around the item.

Alright if the issue was that feral flare makes people stay in the jungle too long, why not just reverse it. For every 30 seconds you go *without* killing a large monster you get 1dmg. Thoughts???

if they didn't want feral flare to be so strong when they got it, they could have just smoothed out it's power curve by nerfing how strong it was when it activated, but making wriggles a little better, rather than nerfing the item straight out.

either way, hopefully we stop seeing all the misplaced qq about an item that wasn't even op'd in competitive play when it was supposedly op'd.

Very, very bad. Mid-lategame, especially when behind, 9 times out of 10 the jungler won't get camps because the money is better on other people. I've had games where I've gone 5+ minutes without killing a big jungle camp, only cleaning up some lane farm/defending pushes. Should I be rewarded with 10 damage for doing jack shit?

Not to mention that Feral Flare was still designed to shift jungle gameplay toward being somewhat more selfish and farm-oriented, they just overdid it.

The direction was the one they wanted to go in, it's just that they overshot their goal.

they should have just added a feral flare like stacking buff to the other jungle items from kills and assists instead of giving it to feral flare.

the ff jungler shouldnt be getting even more monster when he finally comes to a lane and tower dives you, the other jungle items should be rewarded for punishing the ff user.

Just give feral flare a weird confusing diminishing return like release Thresh's passive, there I fixed it (joke)

Trinkets being usable at 0:30 looks like a good change for competitive play. Dragon worth more early also helps a ton.

Darn. Then maybe, just maybe, the problem isn't inherent to the stacking mechanic like they seem to imply.

I wonder if they increase the rewards for kills/assists if it'll start stepping on the conservation mechanic's toes too much.

Hate those khazix changes. The increased range of isolation and nerf to his ult I can live with. Turrets counting as allies is fucking stupid. League is defensive enough already.
