I actually like the rumble skin. If I got the hang of playing rumble/had money to spend I'd probably not buy it but thats besides the point.

I think for most people, it's okay. The problem is that people were expecting much better due to the teaser+hype surrounding it. It's not a bad skin by itself. The fact that they paired it up TTGL hype is what makes people have much higher hopes

The mana regen on his w is actually pretty silly for making pickoffs, you can be half mana, ult onto someone, q/e them, then w them, and be half mana again to just ult away. You don't really go oom at all unless you're ulting everywhere for no reason.
The shield on his q is also kind of interesting, theoretically lets him run up, q a creep, and back off again without taking any health damage. Not sure what matchups that would actually help in though.
Alternatively, maybe play him top in certain matchups? He might do decent against shyvana, either out trading with his q + shield, or kiting with his e, although he might go oom.
Obviously you can't play him like you used to, but having a flash on a 2s cd mid-lategame just seems to amazingly awesome to not at least try and figure out a way to get there.

I'm curious as to how his mid-late plays out against decent players now.
Would be pretty cool if he found a role as a last pick counterpick against certain lanes/team comps, fitting into some mobility/uber-pickoff based team.

The shield you get from his Q is pretty minimal and it doesn't seem like it's enough to let him lane properly. At least with old Kassadin, it was fine if you didn't get much farm since your roaming power was great even after the previous round of base damage nerfs due to your silence and slow. Now all you have is a slow, which usually won't be enough to secure kills.
I dunno, maybe someone will find a way to get Kass through his lane phase and he'll be a monster again, but I have no idea how. I suppose you could try to jungle him, but his terrible base armor and base damages in general is gonna make that really hard.

As someone who's wanted a new rumble skin for over a year and then some this is pretty much awesome. The flamespitter looks so awesome, also what self respecting mecha wouldn't use rockets given a chance? I mean it's no missile massacre but it's pretty neat. I do agree that for people wanting some TTGL knockoff it's not it but I am personally okay with it being a tad more it's own thing over an anime that I thought was okay.
Hoping they put some more polish on it however.

I thought that Kassadin got gutted too
Then Ryu went like 11/3 vs xPeke during Katowice and I wasn't so sure.

Only Kass I saw was dumb and built FH-Muramana-Gauntlet then complained on mumble that GP was doing more damage than him despite the fact that he dumpstered in lane (he went top, and after my gank he indeed dumpstered him). Turns out he spent his time ulting on top of Lucian, using EQW to do maybe 200 damage per spell, then straight-up dying, all before we get a chance to poke with Xerath or initiate with Nautilus so we'd fight 4v5.
Then again I had 3k HP, just under 300 armour with randuin's, tabi and FH on Nautilus, and Lucian did 1400+ damage to me with autos (w/o the passive, it's listed differently) in around 7 seconds, his LW the only ArPen/armour reduction source on their team (so still reduced autos to around 33% thanks to tabi on top of ruining his AS). I was pretty miffed. Maybe he got super lucky with his 25% IE crits, though. Like that level 2 GP ult that did 1020 damage to me at one point. x)

To the people complaining that the rumble skin doesn't have enough drill and the missiles were stupid... the missiles have drill warheads.

how does Ahri's dash interact with Veigar E? Does she get stuck in the wall or does she dash through and get stunned or does she not get stunned at all?
|
It's a dash, not a blink, so she'll be stunned at her arrival location.

Not sure if it actually matters. Her R is extremely fast.
