I still don't understand the few people who are so anti-Lulu. She is the only midlaner that has been viable in pro play that has more utility than Orianna since the last time Lulu was blatantly overpowered (or release/super op zyra, whichever was more recent).

Also sounds like as with Heimerdinger and Neo Strike Vi, using a taunt or joke will switch something, since he's got snippets coming "from inside" the suit, and others being just his voice.

I wasn't criticising it. Just being amused since they took the over-the-topness of the Japanese over the usually tamed translations, so you get the full ridiculousness.

It has nothing to do with being anti-lulu, it has to do with toning her down. Currently she has the damage of a full carry, and more utility than Ori.

basically what wei2coolman said. I like seeing Lulu mid, it's pretty neat and a nice break from all the assassins we've been having. The problem is that she has just ridiculous lane presence against most other laners, silly amounts of burst that's really hard to avoid, AND she has an arguably better version of Kayle ulti.
his late game wasn't really shit though... I don't know why people still propagate that myth? His late game was just fine, just because he didn't scale as hard as Shyv/Mundo doesn't mean his late game was shit. If anything, they should have toned down his lategame cuz considering how rewarding his early game was, he scaled into lategame too easily.

So does garen do well against nasus? I just played a game and it was pretty much us both freefarming in lane (which favors nasus' stacking) but he was completely useless in teamfights because i would just tell people to focus him down quick and nuke him with R. He died too quickly to do anything, although he was pretty bad and just played PvE all game :|
My jungler made me laugh tho "omg nasus 300 stacks cos garen pushes lane and lets him freefarm" - this is after we towerdived him with EASE at like level 8. Just come top and do it again and again?

garen :D I wouldn't say Renek outscales Darius, but neither are all that scary lategame usually.

I know I'm fairly biased here because I want to preserve what is left of Lulu support. The question I guess is, without gutting support Lulu, how do you put Mid Lulu in the proper place to have a Utility-For-Damage tradeoff? Easiest way is to hit Lichbane since support Lulu isn't buying that, and they probably want to keep AP scaling utility because that was part of the S4 promise (one most support players probably still suspect they will go back on). Theoretically they tried reverting some base value nerfs they gave her, and didn't like that either, or they were totally baffled by mid Lulu to begin with and still really don't understand why its strong (hint, lategame sustained damage is too weak). So they said, "Aha, we nerf Lichbane, which is a pesky item that we can't really make fit into this game properly anyways (which is true based on how they want the game to have smooth power curves that they can fine tune)."
I mean, Im rarely the Riot defender when it comes to these things, but this at least makes sense.

I guess, Elise & Maybe Darius are good examples. The better question would probably be, "At what point does he get outscaled, assuming he beat you by X amount earlygame." Where X is the amount that a good Renekton player playing with a competent team would be ahead of a good enemy toplaner with a competent team.

It has nothing to do with outscaling, it has to do if he's relevant in the game. At no point in the game does he ever become irrelevant
