Despite the Lucian and Sivir nerfs, they still dumpster Vayne (Lucian at least can't nearly1v2 the early lane anymore, but it's still pretty bad), and even if you ban Annie (huh, haven't seen those) there's still Leona and Thresh for kill lane/lockdown, and good poke duos will keep her from going anywhere.
That and Jinx is a better late game hyper(ish) carry, who's also much more in favor right now (and doesn't currently autolose most lanes).

Who do you pick her against though? Jinx, Sivir, Lucian, Cait seem too common for that.

Everyone but cait+some supports.Ad picks don't matter the problems come from supports. If they are leona/thresh/blitz+any ad I'd pick vayne and it is pretty safe.Of course vayne is more reliant on support than some other adc but it is still ok.

For all of you people who play a lot of bottom lane, is there a handy table/graph/something that tells someone about which ADC counters which ADC or which Support counters which Support? Something like that would be useful for me as I don't play bottom lane much and I don't want to be responsible for a complete disaster for when I do play it.
If there isn't a resource like that then that's cool.
That being said, even though there may be counters in bottom lane, isn't experience with bottom lane champions much more important? Like, if I don't know the match ups very well for bottom lane then I shouldn't worry about it.
And on the same vein, are there any "safe" supports? Like supports that can do well in any situation?
Thanks!

Spellsy has done a bunch of basic support quick guides or charts that does a decent view of support+adc, suport vs adc, and support v support. However, by the time of his recent S4 post he didn't have enough time to re-examine the matchups, but the the ones from the S3 one should still be valid.

Synergies tend to work in the form of "poke" vs "engage". All else being equal, Graves works better with Taric whereas Caitlyn works better with Sona. If Taric stuns someone, Graves can unload onto them while Caitlyn can only just continue to poke. Caitlyn wants to maintain lane dominance and harass the opponent out of lane; Sona is excellent at that while Taric can only just hang around and can't contribute.

Your own experience does matter to an extent. I don't really think any of the counters are that hard that they override experience and ability, but obviously by the nature of certain kits, some champs are just better vs others. eg. Morgana trashes Leona because she wrecks all her engages.
In some cases, I think it is more that the Support counters the ADC too. Eg. I pick Nami into Draven everytime. "Boy I wish I had something to help land my hard to land skillshot... What's that? There's a glowing circle on the ground where you're going to be? Awesome"

So according to Nick Allen's twitter Lemondogs " failed to submit satisfactory paperwork and will be removed from the EU LCS." So that's a thing.
|
holy shit how can they be so incompetent Nick Allen released the Riot statement 24 hours ago, so I assume LD knew even beforehand and they still didn't file their stuff in in time?
|
I assume there is a reason for it. Aka LD doesnt have a team atm. Not like they wouldnt submit if they had one.
|
Pretty damn incompetent from the looks of things. On the upside, maybe a more deserving team will get the spot. I'd of embedded the tweet but I have no idea how to do all them fancy forum things.

Wow, NiP is gonna be working their arses off to try and get that last spot, after their abysmal showing at the promotion tournament this is a chance for redemption.
Can't say I'm upset about LD being out, the team that showed up for BotA was lackluster to say the least and would have basically made the Spring Split a 7 horse race, and if they couldn't sort out another roster this late they really didn't deserve the spot.
|
NiP and SHC are probably the two teams closest to winning this amongst the 3, right? Iirc SHC had a nice series, very close, but lost in the end, while the other two teams had a rather poor showing.
