Maybe as a LW replacement, if they don't have much armor, or something. BC probably only core on MF. | ||

Because of itemisation priorities it means it ends up not being bought on the marksmen, since it clashes with multiplicative scaling (it can't take the ArPen slot as LW is superior as far as egoistical itemisation goes), and a main damage-dealer would rather buy stronger 2/3-slots timing items such as Hydra or LW over it. In a way you could compare it to your jungle Maokai going Abyssal over SV or Banshee's so that he provides the MR reduction for your magic damage carries, since they're rather get deathcap, void staff, etc. over it ('cept for weird cases often involving the MR while BC barely provides any HP). | ||

It's good on MF and like Wukong, if your team is mostly AD damage. I actually think it's probably better than LW on Yasuo. Yasuo's innate pen is huge, I think the target has to have like 200+ armor for LW to give him more pen than BC. | ||

You can't find BC good in a vacuum. There are cases where it's terrible (Pantheon, Talon for example would apply it with their most damaging nuke, wasting the effect; compare to Wukong whose usual combo is E-auto-Q-R which applies 3 stacks (and the Q reduction) before he starts ulting), and champions with kits that synergise better with it (eg. Riven would apply it way better than Nocturne), but having to buy it or not depend on the team composition and everyone's role. I'll buy BC on Pantheon in the late game because I'll be peeling for my marksman whose dps outdoes mine at that time and he'll likely be dealing with diving bruisers on whom the added shred will have more impact. I'll never buy BC on Pantheon in the early/midgame because my burst outstrips most marksmen and I'm the main physical threat of my team, barring a 5-0 Vayne while I'm 0-4 with half her cs obv. so buying BC to "enhance" their damage would actually be detrimental to our power curve. As for Yasuo a fully stacked BC provides him more ArPen than a LW while his ult's buff is active until something like 180 armour, yeah. Note that it depends on the base armour of the target: the bigger amount of the total is base armour, the less his buff reduces, and thus the less likely the 10 ArPen from BC is to make up for the 10% difference between BC and LW. As such, given identical amounts of total armour, you could have LW deal more damage to Darius while BC deals more damage to Jarvan. It's probably anecdotal in the end. | ||

Yasuo's ult gives him 50% pen towards bonus armor. The base armor of your average squishy is around 75. vs. 75 armor and accounting for 6% pen from masteries, LW gives 24.675 pen. BC gives 27.625 pen. At 100 bonus armor and accounting for his ult, LW gives 41.125 pen. BC gives 39.375 pen. So 100 bonus armor is about the breakeven point. But then BC has more AD, CDR and some HP on it. Also costs more etc. But then again the downside to BC is if a lot of his damage is frontloaded from his ult (I don't know how to play Yasuo), then LW is clearly superior since it actually counts for his ult damage. Also, why are we building pen on Yasuo? I thought we were going Shiv>IE and then tank items. I don't know why I brought this up. If you're going glass cannon Yasuo it's probably worth thinking about though. | ||
