I'm really lost as to what I should have done, though. I can tell that about everything was wrong, but it's hard to pinpoint what should have been the answer. Let Zyra+Jinx shove to tower since we couldn't compete anyway? On the other hand it makes it even easier for Zyra to harass, and Jinx's E is very strong to cut off paths. I have no idea who I should have picked, or how I should have played. Definitely something safer though.

In the second game that countergank by Scip netting you guys a 3-0 into bot tower + dragon was what really put you ahead I think, since Borked Clock on Cait was so ahead (something like 20+ cs and 2 kills?) despite me trying pretty hard to let him 1v2 (going in for damage as Janna with a passive runepage and 0 health pots makes you recall early, surprisingly). After that in the midgame I tried to cover for us while we were pressuring the mid tower, but I was only using green wards, and relying too much on my oracle to see where he was trying to flank from. In the end, it also led to me standing too far ahead several times, and with Zyra+Viktor+Evelyn the incidental AoE made me die before I could even ult (too much hard cc combined for how fast I died) so Borked received little to no peel. I'd say we also failed to follow up efficiently on Teut's ults (AP Malph), who caught either Eve or Tristana several times, but they'd have the time to react and gtfo before we reached them. Can't really say much after the dc (Wheel on Sejuani dc'd so IMSpoon as Renekton sat out), since they were all squishies and as soon as Scip would miss an ult on Borked Clock they had no way of getting to him, while we could dive easily to at least zone people off. Then, because even Trist barely outranged Cait, Janna > Zyra for peeling so he could clean-up. Whenever we let Viktor split through, or Borked would stand too far ahead (like when we tried to siege bot inhib tower) they'd have the potential to explode him though, so we almost threw several times, and we had to really take it slower. Our team also lacked focus several times, for example at one point Scip on Eve survived a dive by something like 30 HP while Teut on Malph was cc'd too much to finish him off (he didn't have sunfire yet). Xangolol was also working on a GA for his Tristana, I'm not sure how it would have gone had he completed it. At this point an ace could have resulted in a loss for either team I think (depending on how far the lanes were pushed since our team had a 1 inhib advantage).

edit: Well, poke comp vs mumu malph combined with being sleepy is not a combination conducive to victory.

like he went full tank only to either follow up on my engages or to help protect the adc in both cases he didn't need to be that tanky malphite wasn't really a great pick but I don't play mid so

Please all check this spreadsheet and post your registration post again if you're not in there. Sorry, I forgot a couple every one in a while, and it adds up in the end - some big names of the IH's aren't even in there ![]()

![]() Tentative self-criticism of my support play (which, despite being somewhat succesful in soloQ, has shown to be abysmal for our IHs' level): + Show Spoiler [wall of text] +
TL;DR: - My typical full-consumables hyper-aggressive playstyle is basically cheese and not conducive to long-terme improvement. - I should learn more about specific supports' patterns and match-ups, and start playing them properly instead of my universal mindless aggression. I know a bunch, probably more than average, but not enough and I don't apply enough of it. Reducing my pool from 5 to 2-3 should help me focusing. - I should also learn more about how to salvage a lane, or protect my carry/create space for him to farm without trading/fighting (which can easily lead to me dying). I should force myself to play safe because I make lanes anti-snowball too easily as I try to force catch-up plays. - Mana management.
