Basically "let's shaft the Institute and the League to the trash bin, they're only good at giving an excuse to get all these people in the same arena". Afaik Syndra has been implied by a Rioter to be in the League because she was captured for example (so... kinda like Brand and Nocturne?) but we never get any official word about it. Whatever floats their boat. I tought that some judgements were pretty well-made as far as character-building goes (Trundle, Talon, Galio for example... Varus as a counter-example, wtf PA fanfiction), but they decided to stop them too. | ||

Early in the league's formation positions of power were commonly held by those not associated with the league. Slowly over time the league, and the summoners in control of the league have encouraged and recruited positions of power across valoran. Swain now controls Noxus instead of katarina's family, Jarvan from demacia, all the ninjas whose job it is to maintain balance in the world, all of which have been converted to positions controlled through the league ect. The league is slowly making a power grab over all of Valoran. After establishing a good deal of control over Valoran, the league started recruiting and bringing in Shadow isles positions, in order to stave of an inevitable valoran vs shadow isles war. | ||

Like "Jynx joined the league to cause mayhem and pester Vi", or "Lucian joined the League to hunt weaknesses in Thresh", or "Aatrox showed up mysteriously at the League one day, possibly heralding a new conflict". Even if it was once in a while, basically there is no lore for the Institute at all and that saddens me. | ||
