Alright real LoL talk, my internet at the new place sucks, LoL lags like a bitch. Trying to convince my roommates to upgrade it. How can LoL lag? Do you mean the east coast lag or the real lag? lol fuck you you dont know the pain of 5 fps LoL
lol, but i do know the pain of east coast skipping. I can handle consistent skipping, but I cannot handle bursts of freezing that usually occurs during team fights.

Also Shurleyas
If you get build build boots and double dragonballs for maximum manhood.

When you hold a lane as a jungler, how do you do it?
If an ally dies or goes back and the enemy is not there anymore, do you take as much cs as possible? As little as possible? Or just stop it from going under tower and then go back to jungling?
What if your red buff is up and you see the enemy jungler heading for it? Or your blue buff?
|
I usually just last hit in a way that should make the wave push toward my laner. If I can't I equalise the wave. If it's pushing I straight-up shove it. I tend to lose control over buffs that way but I can't control when my allies fuck up and die, and in soloQ having them not freak out is more important than a buff. Still annoys me, even worse when it's dragon.

On the first topic, if it's 1-2 waves, and I can even it out, I'll take whatever I can or push it to turret.
If it's 2 or more waves, I'll do my best to slow the wave from hitting turret. You can't take that much CS without screwing your laner over. It's much better to just go to the lane, help the dude clear it, and just let him base after sharing all that XP, and then just help the lane out later on. If it's already under tower though, it's hard to pull it out, and your laner is probably screwed.
Second topic. Ping like mad and get the team to go contest, or else give it up and see if I can get something else done.

Thanks, yeah I got called out on it last game and I just want to make sure what I was doing was normal. It seems like there are a lot of weird cases that this is too situation dependent to analyze in a normal TL post.

Question for LoL GD: If you're against Yorick as Teemo, should you "counter" him by building Swifties or should you buy boots that will actually be useful?
I need to ask because the person recommending it is too much of a pansy to 1v1 me to see if his rationale in game.

Didn't we have a discussion on vlad vs zed? Well, CLG just picked vlad into zed, so we get to see what happens (and CLG thinks it's better for vlad).

I mean on champions like Lulu I kinda get it (esp. since I tend to get boots2 late on her, I usually do well so I buy shit like oracles and noone builds Locket so I build that and Ruby Sightstone and then I'm oom too and... welp, long story short it gives me more disengage on a champ made for it while allowing me to reach a fight without burning W for it when people all burn their dashes and shit). But Fiddle's not the best for it, I'd rather get the Distortion enchant for more Flash fear or Twin Shadows for the slow, Shurelya feels awkward because he's so squishy that if he telegraphs "I'm going to run toward you" people can just turn and halve his health with long range stuff. I think Fiddle is a special case as far as supports are concerned, he justs play so differently post-lane phase since you usually want to be more offensive with him but don't get the innate tankiness of a Leona or Thresh. I get Shurelya's pretty much always as Janna/Nami just because I've already got the philo stone and the active is still good for saving lives/ending the enemy's. Really I wish Riot would just make more things similar to Shard with actives that no self-respecting solo laner would purchase because they give mediocre stats. Make Zeke's cheaper, remove the lifesteal from the aura and instead make it a single-target active that gives 25% lifesteal x seconds and can only be cast on someone else. The ls great as an aura, the problem is cost plus 800 gold in camp before the aura.

this sucks lane rengar was fun with bush ambushing. I like that E change but probably too much of a nerf for rengar. the ulti change, I am not too sure what to say, consuming all the points once activated means you can't just stealth and do a double Q right away. no more stealth makes it harder to leap to the right target too. oh well, I hope they do buff rengar in other areas. I feel like they are just changing his role completely with a minor nerf

Didn't see it, but I'd imagine vlad does fine. Pool>Zed ult is what I can make of it. Is there more to it?
|
I don't get the new ult. I guess it's for chasing now? I don't see much use for it otherwise, I guess as a jungler you can use it to zoom past wards like Hec or Rammus, but that's pretty lame. It's basically a glorified Ghost that gives you his passive jump. Q is whatever until we see numbers, W is kind of interesting but again will depend on numbers, E looks pretty nice now. I much prefer skillshots for this sort of things to catch people over walls and in bushes and what not.

switching to google DNS has no impact on routing at all!
and almost definitely wouldn't fix any game-related issues since most games are pretty light on the DNS lookups!
