If I was in NA I would probably consider world finals to meet the koreans, but just the other day I turned down my friend who asked if I wanted to attend gamescom with him.
While it would be pretty awesome to meet all the pros, 300€ for a 2-3 day trip is not really worth it, considering from past experiences that you probably have to wait around 5hours to play a 3 min demo of a popular game. I rather prefer staying at home watching playoffs with 2-3 other friends, LR with all of you guys and be productive during the 20min of downtime between games.
Also I'm way too old now to stand in the crowd and scream for free keybands or get horny when seeing boothbabes lol. ( Those guys attending conventions only to take creepy pics of them are the worst, man.)

oh shit lollll They should make AmericanExpress Twisted Fate. I love throwing blackcard.

i am 1 hour away from gamescom and even i consider it not worth it.
Last time i was there (2 years ago) they had an international tournament, so it was fun to see people like hotshotgg and watching some good games in a crowd while drinking some beer.
But these days, meh. Might be worth it only when you are a pretty female and leave with 3 bags of free stuff.

l0l, you guys so cynical. :<
I'll be attending World Finals for sure. I may stay a week earlier for Semis too if I can get somewhere to stay. Not going to be living at a hotel for ~10 days.

I'd love to go, I just don't think I'll have the time/money/off-time from my hopefully extant employment to do so. =(

The lack of amp on Q made her take more items, where before she used to truck people with Nashor's + Guise. She still has good lategame potential, but her damage is pretty low early so Koreans dropped her and in turn a lot of people with their eyes on OGN dropped her EXCEPT the manliest of men Vileroze that is. Honestly she'd probly still be good in NA LCS where games go a bit longer. Kayle had two recent nerfs: in the first one, they eliminated her MR scaling per level and changed her Q to apply her passive instead of damage amplification, increase slow intensity, and decrease slow duration. In the second one, her heal and ultimate ranges were lowered to 900 from 1000/1200.
The first one is the only one that you would think would have a big impact, but for some reason it was only after the second nerf that Kayle fell out of favor completely. I think this is a case of people overreacting to Riot balance changes (there's no reason you should go from 80+% pick/ban rate to 0% because of those range nerfs) and underreacting to item buffs. I mean, the Nashor's Tooth is a much bigger buff to Kayle than any of her recent nerfs.

Champs like Pantheon or Renek (if offensive) seem to have high kill potential with flash + stun/ignite engages. Question based around top/mid. Jarvan, Xin have decent all-in potential too. Wukong is pretty strong, although with his horrendous animation it's hard to keep up with anyone using an escape to make use of the bonus AS and armour debuff. Jayce's dual form is pretty dumb, so is Elise's but I'd say she isn't too strong at level 2 (stronger than most champs, but not 100-0 all-in potential yet). Kha'Zix has a strong level 2 all-in mid too.
Cassiopeia has one of the strongest level 2 in the game in terms of dps but she needs to hit her poison and chase people down. Twitch has super strong burst but you barely see him in a solo lane. Anivia can do up to 230 + 2 AP damage at level 2, <cue my usual rant about how friggin' bullshit she is> so if you hit a Q you can probably force a flash, back, or straight-up kill your opponent.

I always took a systems approach of being ok at a few different heroes in each lane and trying to contribute. I have been working on leveling a smurf when i'm frustrated with solo que. So, I was curious to see how good I could do with this strategy and if it is more effective than my strategy.
What are some champs that fulfill the type of champ he is describing besides ryze? I'm going to try it out, but I'm not the biggest ryze fan. Ori is a scary mid that has great team fight presence. Also what he recommends with sticking to one champ or a couple champs work specializing regardless of what role you play will help you carry better.

Maybe not anymore, but Rengar's level 2 is/was crazy.

Once you exhaust the 13k RP you get from the 4 different ways to get RP, you only get 1 RP every $3 spent on it. Pretty underwhelming once you consider that. Could be fun to invest $40 into getting 13k RP and still being able to spend that $40?
I guess I might do it.

I attribute this to typical fotm lag but I could be wrong. Fact of the matter is the first nerf chopped so much of her early damage off that she became neither a lane bully nor an early teamfight contributor which all but removed her from OGN.

Smurfrod carried himself to like top10 Challenger EUW just through Kayle mid. I am still a big fan.

I think she's still super good her timings are just later and she can't bully nearly as well.
