It's super relevant especially at level 6. I hit 6, I ult you forcing you out or to death, and have bear tank 9-10 turret shots. Normally it enough to get your jungler to come, whom you can also kill because you are level 6 annie, or I get you turret inside 7-8 minutes. Plus afterwards I can just keep all in'ing you because the damage it does on summon is just plain stupid.

I don't know if it should be given a speed buff but it'd be nice if it had the ability to be slightly relevant in the hands of a player who actually tries to control Tibbers, other than face tanking towers/baron/dragon because any goldie and above can do that. I dont really play Annie so i wouldn't know how much it actually helps to control him a la viktor ult.

Yeah I got that same feeling :p
Besides the ulti Annie has the same problem as veigar; if the burst doesn't kill you she's a pussycat.

I've played against Annie many times, just get some small amount of MR and all-in back when the stun ends, she really isn't very stronk.

It's remarkably NOT true though. Early game, Tibbers' damage post summon is still really really freaking good and is a massive deterrent for enemies for his entire lifespan. In team fights it's meh, but still good. My only gripe is sometimes he feels completely lobotomized and will run off in the wrong direction or stop moving completely - but that's just Riot's poor pet AI. "You survived? Too bad, I'll make Tibbers sit between you and the creepwave and zone you." Pretty annoying everytime. :<

Tibbers is already getting PBE buffs that are probably enough, if not too much. 3000 HP rank 3 is a hell of a lot. Also, the token mana cost creep, lol.
I still personally never liked the Annie remake, though, where they chopped off her base damages in favor of higher ratios. Annie with early-level front-loaded power was part of her style, and while it's still there somewhat, she's a lot more generic AP caster than she used to be.
EDIT: Does anyone know if Tibbers is affected by the Aegis +50% bonus effect on Minions?
EDIT 2: Yes he is. So with PBE changes, Tibbers rank 3 will have 3k HP, 115 MR, and 85 Armor with just a Bulwark on your team. Even if you smite him down, that's a lot of survivability to be working with.

Honestly if they were going to buff Annie's mana usage, I think it would have been more interesting for them to make Disintegrate return slightly more mana than its cost rather than just flat out buffing mana costs.

WTB Yango a position at Riot Design.

Can't really have your cake and eat it. If they want a more sustained threat then that must come at the cost of burst. Or whatever power creep the shit out of the game while removing any form of resource.

Imo they just need to buff Tibbers AI. My problem with him has never been that he's slow, it's that there's a bruiser in my face and tibbers is gazing his navel instead of attacking.

Tibbers doesn't really have AI, he's just directly controllable. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, though it is a bit unintuitive for him to not have default attack-move AI.

The whole non-hero control in league is atrocious. Unfortunately I don't think they can ever fix that

The greatest thing about Annie's remake was the change to CD/duration of Molten Shield. It makes it so much easier to cycle stuns very quickly, especially once you have some CDR (usually mine comes from blue buff/pot, but Soloside keeps yelling at me to use DFG - I'm just too stubborn to buy that stupid item).

Part of the issue is that I struggle alt-clicking him onto an enemy and having him stay on that enemy. It's either really REALLY bad coding (which, let's be serious, is highly likely), or I'm retarded (equally as likely).

Except it's a completely different method of control and doesn't allow for more than 1 extra unit.

We'd be two retards then, since I remember having the same problems with Mordekaiser and particularly Viktor (really infuriating when you know you'll kill your opponent with the periodic damage, press R on him for the storm to follow, and after a sec or two it just stops there and lets him run away, fuuuuuuuuuuuu).

I've always theorized that one could make a interesting pet-controlling champion by using QWER as "control-group hotkeys", like how in SC you don't actually select your zerglings manually, you press 1 for the control group you made earlier. In other words, pressing Q would change control to a pet, pressing Q again would change control back to the champ. And Q can summon the pet in the first place if he's not already there.

Proabably such a champ would be Jayce-like (or maybe Nidalee like) wherein R is automatically leveled at 1, you can level at 6, 11, 16 (for some bonus stats to the pet), then you use R to toggle abilities/control between the two with some kind of leashing system.
With league's clunkiness it probably would have a Meepo problem though.

Tibber is obviously bad. Have you played Annie ARAM? That bear is so sad.
