Only native english speakers think it is hard. Finnish is really weird because from what i heard it is not connected to any other language except hungarian and has a lot of weird tenses and cases. My mother told me that russian is not that hard and pretty logical. I personally found french to be a lot harder then english, but part of that might also be that there is a lot more direct contact to english than there is to french. However, a very depressing moment was when i went to France after learning french in school for 5 years and thinking that i could understand it reasonably well, and then not understanding a single word anyone said to me. Luckily for me I was in Alsace and they knew german there, so i did not starve. I don't think i can properly rate german being a native speaker, but it also has a lot of those things in it that i found very annoying in french, like random genders associated to nouns, cases that serve no purpose whatsoever, and similar stuff like that.

But basic grammar for Chinese is easy, especially compared to the nightmare that is english grammar. Chinese has basically no grammar at all. You can piece together words in almost any order and it's OK. The vocabulary, however, is vast and difficult.

I always hear the "fact" that English is the hardest language to learn, but maybe that's just foreign language teachers trying to shame us into other languages lol

I guess against Pantheon because of his passive I need to wait for my animation before the second Q so that I can get up to 4 stacks, and need to wait until 2 to begin harrassing. Still worrying that I get harrassed too much by him before hitting 2 but meh..

Somebody who's native language is English has a much harder time learning Vietnamese than German, while somebody who's native language is Thai has a much harder time learning German than Vietnamese. Arguing over what language is the hardest to learn is like waving a giant flag in the air that says "I've never learned another language before."

I sometimes instinctively think a particular sentence in English when holding a conversation in French because its construction feels more natural in that language. >_> On April 29 2013 05:15 Shikyo wrote: Fiora vs Pantheon was the first lane I did lose. Panth isn't particularly hard for Fiora, his passive is supposedly annoying but the most probable is that you fucked up somewhere.

Can't say that of a lot of champs (Darius' for example, because of his passive). Panth isn't particularly hard for Fiora, his passive is supposedly annoying but the most probable is that you fucked up somewhere. To be perfectly honest, it's a defensive lane. The first one to try and initiate a trade or all-in will probably lose due to minions (unless they're already ahead). Buy a Tabi and pots+vamp, and just heal through his spear harass. Fiora outscales Panth anyways, so just let the lane stay relatively passive, unless you see a strong opportunity (like early level 2 with his shield down), and take advantage of the fact he'll be ganking other lanes to take an advantage top lane. Ganks will swing the lane. If Panth initiates on Fiora, he's only getting one AA block and Fiora can take advantage of it; if Fiora initiates, its versus two-three AA blocks which makes things a bitch.

Probably need to be more aggressive lvl 1 and especially 2 before he gets to lvl 3, yeah.

I am pretty sure it isn't racism if you dislike a country or it's people. Country-cism? Nationalism is kind of the opposite, but kind of close too. I don't think there really is a word for that.

Really? I didn't think the base damage increase was really all that much, also the ad scaling on that thing's huge so I just left it at 1 point and maxed W instead. Not like you're really gonna hit many Qs in a real game either. I'll try both though, been doing E->W->Q but I feel like the damage is lacking, maybe leveling Q will remedy that.
