Why not make up for the xin e cd nerf by getting like cdr blues instead of mr/level? You build tanky on xin anyways.

Actually xins e got exponentially better with cdr because not only does CDR get better the closer you to get 40% anyway but theres also a flat -3 seconds from Q already so that 1 second is a pretty big nerf and getting cdr is good on xin but it was even better before.

Xin tends to prefer HP to resistances because of his ult, MR itemisation isn't that good for junglers like him (basically it's mainly bulwark and mercs—if you don't get golem spirit) so the +25 from runes always help, and you'd want to build CDR on him anyway (his passive and Q mechanic make CDR and flat ArPen his best offensive stats) so I'm not sure you'd gain that much, unless you use enough CDR blues to get a few seconds off of your spells even early on, and the opposite team isn't running double AP.

Rammus has a pretty slow clear without madred's, but damn if the golem spirit isn't good on him. And don't even get me started on Nautilus, holy shit, when you get the least bit fed the combo from an earlier level 5 shield and enough gold to get a bunch of CDR makes you so frighteningly tanky. *_*
I just need to find a way to farm with Mao and Rammus when lanes can't get helped early on (had a Katarina whine while against a Nunu mid, couldn't even get close to them and Kata didn't know how to bait) so I can just pick them whenever I want.
And I need to do that with Mundo too.
And maybe finally learn Amumu properly rather than a single game every blue moon.
But not neglect Vi! Nor Udyr.
While keeping the dust off of my top lane. And getting back to mid sometimes. And try to suck less at AD.
Fuck. LoL is hard.

I feel like Udyr is a better place than Xin now.
I look at the nerfs and tbh they don't look that big. But even I'm not as motivated to play Xin atm. @_@

what do you guys think of double jungle items on some slower but tanky junglers? like madreds + ss-> golem. never done it, but sometimes i'm really tempted...

just play like your 2 favourite champions you'll never get any good with that many champs you're trying to play all the time

fuck ive played over 1k udyr games and i still haven't "learned" him

people trying to "learn" new champs when they've played less than 100 ranked games with almost all their other champs is just laughable

I was experimenting with that but I havent reached any hard conclusions.

The main result is that you clear faster, but you're squishier. Levels and gold will catch up to that but your early game is slightly weaker however if you are farming a lot faster you will be able to gank more later on.

madreds is 500 gold of armour for 700 gold so basically its only really 200 gold "wasted" (and you'll make it up pretty fast)

HOWEVER until you reach about 1.5k-2k hp hp is by far the best stat for junglers defensively so you're investing in a suboptimal stat.

The idea is you get a fast locket or giants belt if not both with your extra farm and try not to take too many big risks

for what its worth ever since i tried it I tend to do it maybe 75% of games. The games I don't its usually because
a: I get really fed and just get spirit stone upgrade in 1 buy or something and don't need madreds to farm fast
b: I want to mostly try ganking for some reason so I just get madreds and rush defensive items with what little farm I have

most pro players only play 1 role and 2-3 champs or so maybe changing month to month.
yet people a bunch of roles and much worse than them feel the need to have like 6 champs per role
