Also all your lanes would be pretty terrible. | ||

Audacious Charge Damage reduced to 70/105/140/175/210 from 70/110/150/190/230. Cooldown increased to 14/13/12/11/10 seconds from 13/12/11/10/9. Crescent Sweep: Base damage reduced to 75/175/275 from 125/225/325. Cooldown increased to 120/110/100 seconds from 100/90/80. Considering he is a really strong ganker from level 3-5 and onward, the nerf doesn't seem to have damper him much imo. It's just players decide to move onto Nasus and Voli (talking about the LCS). | ||

I don't understand it. Talk about Flavour of the Month. Xin was the number one first pick in the LCS.....he isn't out of favor at all. 3rd most popular jungler barely behind Nasus and Jarvan. He got 2 less picks than Thresh, more than MF, saw him almost 10 more times than Khazix. He was picked almost twice as much as Volibear. If you haven't seen him much in soloque I would guess its because he's not very fun to play. Really simple but strong champs get boring and people stop using them as much. | ||

Sivir doesn't have the escapes of other carries, nor the dps of a Draven, and her Q is too susceptible to being outplayed by any mobility spell (think stuff lik Vayne vs Ez) for her to be a good splitpusher. Even if she had more range, I feel that her passive and ult make her stronger at early levels than later on anyway: the more AS you have, the harder it is to use her passive well, and against mobile champions one slip-up will mean death past a certain point (like Kha'Zix) so she gets mechanically harder to play as time goes by (Graves feel easier to play to me in the same situation, though, because is base AS is so miserable you deal no damage during the time E bought you in the early levels). It's also easier to snipe towers early on when we're talking about the outer ones. Jungle Nasus level 6 means drake whenever the enemy jungler is seen top and you're near said drake, AD Sivir level 6 with a BFS or some other source of AD means dead tower as soon as the enemy botlane (or just AD, depending on the support) backs, unless they shoved you all the way to under your tower (alternatively she helps doing the drake pretty fast). In some circumstances you can also snipe an off-lane inner turret by yourself if the lane is pushed and you see the enemy team elsewhere (trying to mass gank an ally or take your outer on the opposite side of the map, for example). But that's really niche and I don't think any team would let you do that (for the inner turrets), and she doesn't reward you as much as Draven or Vayne for how mechanically demanding she gets. I like her, but she has no real selling point apart from her pre-6 burst when you compare her to AD carries now and the s3 itemisation.  | ||

EDITEDIT: Found it. IEM China, Game 3 of SK vs CLG. I feel so old now; 2.5 years ago. On another note, looking back on the game, apparently CLG pioneered the lane switch meta. | ||

As for Sivir's old W, her new one is actually better imo for an ADC. Her old one is better for a split pusher. W as an auto attack reset is really really strong. I think if they nerfed some of her damage numbers on her skills and gave her 550 range she'd be fine but if they did that she might lose her "feel" and then the five people who play Sivir would be upset. | ||

I remember that. The thing is, Sivir also meshed well with their overall team comp (auras+lots and lots of speed for Galio/Kennen initiate, and Janna mid with cleanse can only stop one of the two). She was a niche pickup to be sure, but a niche is better then the state she is in now. People still picked her as a pusher/strange hypercarry in tournaments/scrims. After the rework, there was a brief period of OP reworked Sivir (and the Sivir/Vayne/Graves trinity), before she fell off the map due to nerfs and meta changes. | ||
