were talking about getting demoted from silver/gold/plat to a lower tier. not from division 1 to 5

I have gotten demoted for 2 losses at 0 points immediately after being promoted.
I have also gotten demoted for 1 loss immediately after hitting 0 points the same day as getting promoted.
The only hard rule that I've heard is that you can't be demoted for your very first game in the new division, but I'm not even sure I believe that.
I've been demoted 3 times at this point and every time I dropped to 50 points in the lower division. It's very harsh.

So I'm looking at the red tracker and I see that Smash finally decided to use his fancy red posting powers on the official forums.

I suppose that's why after being demoted 3 times I'm getting 25 points for wins and losing 15 for losses.

He means demoted out of a league (gold, plat, etc.), you can still get demoted between each tier though.

Bond, Jayce Bond.

Sadly, I don't think Jayce is nearly as strong nowadays. He can't really play the whole "build tanky and be a threat" as he could before the E nerf, and building damage on him doesn't feel as strong as it used to now that everyone has a Warmog's or more.

He's still quite strong, just not the same lane bully he was before. More of a niche pick now, best for a dedicated poke comp with someone like AP nidalee.

You still have a %max health magic damage nuke when people love to stack HP and forgo MR the most out of armour/MR/HP now. Jayce was utterly broken before the nerfs anyway so there's not really a point in dwelling over it (join me and rant all day every day on Anivia instead).

I'm almost at 6300IP to get Jayce and always said to myself I'd never buy RP for skins but it gets tempting...
Edit: Actually he kinda looks like Jean Dujardin on this splash art, I might not buy that.

I thought of Jayce Archer.

If they made a Jayce Archer and got Jon Benjamin to voice it I would give Riot all of my money.

I sucks because you sacrifice some damage, but it makes it so you don't OOM when poking with QE combo.
