And Zed's an AD caster so he has better sustained dps than Akali (esp. thanks to W passive late game) and doesn't rely on resets. His W to go through walls and stuff is also better than shroud as an escape tool, his E allows him to clear waves quickly (Akali's E is only used for this really) and he can poke with Q better than her. In general, he's safer in lane and has better damage without committing. | ||

As a BW, Wc3, and Sc2 players for the past 13 years, my minimap awareness increased 10 fold when I realized I could switch. I had the shittiest map awareness before I switched, it was ridiculous. And I myself don't really care about part of a lane being covered by a minimap, l0l. Maybe I should switch, but after being used to sc2 position of minimap from 2K+ games and then relearning it in 2K+ games of LoL it would feel like a massive shame to relearn it back. Oh well. | ||

Because Akali lacks one she requires patience and a good sense of how to position and when to commit. These are two skills that most players arguably lack. | ||
