I've said this before--changing the gold distribution in the jungle won't affect a jungler's farm priority because how much farm you're allocated is dictated by your position/role on the team. A richer jungle just means that the jungler will take a lower farm priority with regard to cleaning up lanes (whereas with the current jungle, the "optimal" farm distribution as demonstrated by various top teams involves mid taking wraiths for the sake of efficiency, but jungle also getting to clean up lane farm to meet his farm needs).
As a corollary, changing the gold/exp values in the jungle may change the jungler's farm priority and role. If the gold and/or experience value of the jungle exceeds that of lanes the jungle may become more secure place for your #1 or #2 to farm. While the worth of giving farm to a specific champion may not change, the champion used in jungling and the expectations of that player's role in a team may.
Also, fluidity increases as the game goes on, but in the early stages the only person who can reliably clear the jungle and hold lanes is the jungler. There are champions who are exceptions, but in general increasing the value of the jungle will benefit the jungler early, even if they remain low in priority overall.
On a different subject, I'm not fond of the leashing change. Leashing previously was only a modicum of teamwork, but it went a long way toward getting people to understand that there are little things you can do that help other players on your team immensely. I'm having trouble imagining players in lower and even middling Elos embracing the new "leashing".

How often is it that your team wants or needs more than 10 wards on the map at once?
It's going to take an item slot that was pretty much always devoted to wards in the first place, while not costing anything to replace the wards, giving you 125 HP in that slot, AND having the option to build it to something.
Even if their intention is not to remove all ward buying, this honestly has the potential to do that.
I eagerly await the hilarity of having 3xWriggles + 5xSightstone on a team.

We'll see. I could see it being possibly being good on passive champs who just want to farm into the mid/late game. Aggressive laners won't want to sacrifice lane dominance for extra wards, imo.

its the dumbest thing ive seen riot suggest in a long while wards have a direct gold value throughout the game and if they treat it as anything else than gp10 they are mistaken
