The thing is, at level 11, Q is already maxed, you usually don't want to level E over W, and W doesn't help your clear speed because you're not using it on camps since it's not mana-efficient for damage alone.

Zyra support is fun. So many people underestimate that E. Man I hope S3 hits soon, all the people freaking out over a couple elo points is getting old, I know it never ends but it's worse than usual. I'm only at around 1200 elo too, so it's not like people cpl points away from 1500 or something.
Edit: On that note, wtf do you build on Zyra support? I normally go usual support opening (mana pendant, wards, pots) into Philo > Kage's > Catalyst. I know the cata is not the right route, so do you build normal support shit or do you want AP to scale in the late game better?
Edit 2: On an even further note, am I using the right runes/masteries for her?
Runes: Armor reds, GP5 yellows, Mana regen blues, GP5 quints.
Masteries: 0/9/21

Besides your first level on E, there is no reason to ever level it again over Q or W. Q max is good enough on its own to farm wraiths and wolves. Leveling Q and W make your ganks stronger and Q max is more energy efficient for camp clearing. If you don't have blue buff you simply can't use E for jungling because you'll have no mana to gank even if you have a philo. R is also really good in a lot of gank situations too, it's not like it's only useful for teamfights.

You buildnthe usual support and dont really go for ap because plantdmg scales with levels and lategame you are basically only needed for your root and huge aoe knockup

I use mr blues instead and never have problems with mana. I think ap would be ideal most of the time.

i've always had the impression putonghua just meant "common words" (direct translation), meaning "common language" is a more accurate transcription.
As a taiwanese american; I pretty much reference cantonese and mandarin as "chinese" in english
